don't forget to check the amp fuse under the hood next to the battery! 30amp fuse on mine.

I got a question, i follow every step, without problem, but when i installed the new radio using a Metra wire adapter, the audio is very very low, my car is a Azera 2007 limited basic

the factory amp doesn’t work well with aftermarket radios i took it out and hooked the wires up to a 4 channel amp

It's the wrong radio for the car. This model radio doesn't work with an amplifier. You will need a radio with cassette which will work with the amplifier.

Is it possible to isolate the CD player power from the radio power? My CD player is an aggressive parasitic draw, and I dont/wont use it any way. I have it rigged with a fuse switch which I have to remember to turn off each time I park for a few hours which erases presets, such a pain in the ass.
