I like how this documentary has expressed Bob Marley's philosophical views of the world to the current issues we are still facing today as the Black Race..Lets keep on fighting. ✊🏾

I needed this today, thank you Bob Marley and family. As the revolution continues to te highest heights around the world, remember Love is the revolution, hate is the manifestation of evil. Love is not just submission, but our weapon to overthrow the evil around the world. God is Love, reggae is Love, and Bob is from both. Grace and peace Loved ones worldwide!

Good to see some people decided to use the struggles of Africa Americans in Bob Marley's name. Bob was however standing for the struggles of Africans and Africa. To talk about Bob Marley as a freedom fighter and completely ignore what Africans are going through today is not celebrating Bob Marley in a good way.
@michelrood29663 жыл бұрын
You def. Dont know Bob..He stood for all opressed, Not just Africans..as he once said ; I dont dip on the black man side or the white mans side..
@mysticman93313 жыл бұрын
@@michelrood2966 yes Bob Marley stood for all oppressed but his primary focus was about Africa. "How good and how blessed it will be before God and man, to see the unification of all Africans" . "Until that day, the African continent will have no peace, we Africans will fight we find it necessary" . What we have to understand is that Bob was a Rastaman. The Rasta movement is based on the love of Jah and the emancipation of Africans. Let us not commercial Bob for our own benefits. Rita Marley moved and settled in Ghana because that was what Bob dreamed of. He wanted to move back to Africa. That was his love.
@michelrood29663 жыл бұрын
@@mysticman9331 Rita Marley also sued Bobs brother for using the Marley name, and the remaining bandmembers out of their royalties,which Bob used to pay equal to himself btw..Talking about commercializing Bobs name ..Theres so much you dont know..Rasta is a Orthodox Ethiopian Tawahedo Cristian religion at its core but at the same time black liberation movement..Bob said : I dont dip on the black mans side or the white man side..Death to black and white opressors is the credo, yes? I do understand your point though,

In our pain we cannot forget that others hurt too. To take a dominant role and seek deliberately offend others, helps no one. As Ziggy say, love, just like Bob always said. We defend if necessary but don't look for an excuse... I look to God for man to man is unjust. Bless.

Bob is blessed to have Rita in his life. I love One Love Peace concert; the spirit of Bob and the band, natural mystic flowing through the air. Lion of Judah leads the way as Bob begins his message to his people. By Vibration Bob is soaring and in Jammin he is circling Mount Zion on the wings of a dove. Yes, Bob calls out the fake leaders of slavery but this is only half the story. One Love is an appeal for the sacred objective of Unity of Rasta of Jamaica. This is where Rastaman is first known and then Rasta would have to unite first from Jamaica before the earth could be united. So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. Haile Selassie is Our Chapel, our refuge, our place of unity and strength and our path to peace. Bob, thank you for shining the Light. JAH Live!

Always love to see these series of documentaries. This is not an exception. When it comes to the song War: "until the philosophy which hold one race superior and another inferior, is finally and permanently discredited and abandon...." i missed along the documentary the fact that the lyrics are his Highness emperor Haile Selassie speech to the UN when Italy tried hard to conquer whole of Ethiopia without success. Fullfilling in this way the profecy of Marcus Garvey about the King that will bring back the proudness of being African. Emperor Haile Selassie is key on Bob Marley freedom fighter spirit but never mentioned in this serie. Jah Blessings to all!
