Anyway, she found a lover who treated her nicely and helped when her wig tilted a bit to one side. He complimented her various floral pattern dresses and flirted with her as much as she'd let him. It however, wasn't meant to be, after the last night in paradise she realized she must go back to her life in the big city and leave him behind but she'll never forget the 3 days and 2 nights she spent with him at a very reasonably priced hotel south of the equator. Jan reminds me a lot of Rose in the way that they both have had good upbringings without the usual trauma associated with growing up gay and coming out. I think that's great but sadly it makes them come off as unrelatable to a lot of people. It says a lot about how our trauma and troubled past binds us as a community. I love the fact that their are people who were able to grow up being gay and feminine without any of the related stigma. It just doesn't speak to me personally.

I went to Pandora’s viewing party for this episode….and let me just say…she was a different queen after drinking. I wonder how many other queens are shy on RPDR when sober but have a different persona at the club.

That is a very important point. If Pandora is used to having a couple of cocktails in order to help socialize and perform and all of a sudden that's not available on top of the enormous stress of the competition that would be extremely difficult. To be fair not just focussing on Pandora but alcohol use is a big part of the drag community so I'm sure many other girls have had struggles in that area. This doesn't have anything to do with alcohol but I still believe that Laganga's problems during her season were a result of not having access to any weed.
