The superior pit stop, where they keep it real! So glad there was no mention of the flats and that Daja's outfit got some love. I felt very gaslighted by FFR and the Pit Stop because I thought she looked gorgeous. That colour on her?? THE HEAD SCARF? Stunning. I wish someone would talk about how funny and shady the editor were in untucked when they cut to Maddy every time someone said 'we as QUEER people' or 'WE as GAY people' etc. I was dying. I thought Maddy explained her reasons for doing drag very well and sounded very respectful of the community and the artform.

I'm one of the people who didn't like it. But I like her. Speaking for myself, the color blocking specifically with the hem is where a well-fitted look in a beautiful color goes from nice to "have you lost your mind?" If the dress were just black lace or just blue, it would work because it's constructed very well. Or if the ruffle hem started lower so that there was less of it. But to just cut herself off at the knees without any balancing blue on the top half of the dress? Yes, it's in the headpiece and that cape-drape thing, but the hat is proportionally small to that huge ruffle hem. And the robe thingy is off to the sides... And the black recedes and the blue really pops, exacerbating the issue. I can see a lot of good in it. It's well constructed and made with beautiful fabrics and the fit is flawless but the design on paper is bad. Not trying to trash anyone.

Anjeria killed it. Maddy did pretty damn good (I also play guitar…👀).
