The problem with these extremely long seasons (especially during years where the queens couldn't really work consistently due to covid) is that they won't have enough good runways to bring. Both because there's just so much space in their luggage allowance and because some of the runways will have to be adapted versions of outfits they already had. Hence their wacky explanations. Yes, I didn't get horoscope. And worshiping fungus or weed or a wedding dress (?) seems like a stretch. But I think some runway they literally just use whatever they have at this point. I wish the seasons went back to a normal length.

The “worship” category had a lot of potential and I think Willow, Bosco, and Jasmine got close. I love the idea of looking at their personal relationship with reality/spirituality and turn that into something visual. absolutely loved this ep! omg rock m. sakura is such a GEM in this, man i wanna see her in all stars so bad now! 😭 but seriously, you two just said it how it is, so glad you mentioned the mess that this episode was… ugh also LOVE that rock m. called out the white skinny privilege some of these queens are skating by with! no shade to bosco but omg we’ve seen her in that silhouette how many times now and the judges and audience seem to eat it up? HOW?! if any other queen were to wear that they would be absolutely clocked in an instant! zero creativity for me personally. 🤷‍♀️
