What did Boccherini gain from music is nothing when comparing his yeoman service to Baroque music. I used to long for Boccherini's beautiful and sad music when I needed some peace of mind. Excellent collection.

I can't remember when I've enjoyed listening to such esoteric, genteel Baroque music, as I have here. The deft performances perfectly capture the essence and soul of these heavenly strains, lilting me off to dreamland. Thank you Brilliant Classics for this quintessential post. Wunderschöne Interpretation dieser sechs kompakten und fein komponierten Streichquintette im veränderlichen Tempo mit seidigen doch gut phrasierten Tönen aller Streichinstrumente. Die intime und perfekt entsprechende Miteinanderwirkung zwischen den fünf Virtuosen ist echt eindrucksvoll. Alles ist faszinierend!

Too many ads right in the middle of the music. Makes it impossible to listen to. If the ads were in between movements it would be tolerable. But as it is, it interrupts in the middle of the music.

That is something you would bring to heaven... But I am not sure thi is the right track list, other sources bring different pieces under these opus numbers.... I guess the right numbers should be: G.301 in track list is actualy G.304 G.302 - G.305 G.303 - G.306 G.304 - G.301 G.305 - G.302 G.306 - G.303
