Although I can't really understand most of the explanations in this video since I can't speak or read japanese, I still find it really interesting how the chord progression of this song is essentially Pachebell's canon but extended and with more secondary ii-V-I progressions. Very cool!

Thank you for watching this video! Canon progression usually runs as follows: I-V-vi-iii-IV-I-IV-V. This chode progression is used for many contemporary Japanese pop, anime music with changing their forms.

This chode progression is in common use for J-pop music, anime songs. That is said confirmation progression. Besides, Ⅳ-Ⅴ-Ⅲm-Ⅵm progression, also known as the "royal road progression" (王道進行, Ōdō shinkō) is much the same famous chord progression within contemporary Japanese pop music.
