At this point, I assume the people hating on Gannon are just casually ignorant fans that don't follow the sport. Imagine the World #1 (or Player-of-the-Year or league MVP) carrying anyone else's bag in any other sport. In fact, they'd probably have agents and lawyers forcing them *not* to do it.

Gannon is the guy to listen to, I know wisdom comes with age but Gannon is an anomaly and an absolute disc golf genius. literally watched a thousand videos to fix my form and got very little benefit, then I saw 1 vid from the ice man and literally immediately added 50 ft to my back hand WITH MORE ACCURACY. he is the form goat no one will every convince me otherwise.

For viewers who have not walked or thrown this course, it's hard to understand hard it can be to shoot par. Really impressed with your attitude through the front 10 even though the birdies didn't happen. Minus the approach on #10 & this was honestly a round to be proud of. Great video

@@BodanzaDiscGolf understandable! straddle is hit or miss for me too. I’m also in the process of finding a good balance in my putt. I think the spin putt is good BUT when it’s off it’s very off. Find that balance of loft and spin in whatever stance. Putting is gonna get you to the next level bro

I think you have to just go out and play. You've got so much energy and brain power invested in the pre-production (laying out your game plan, what discs you're going to use on what hole, etc.) that it's possible you're blocking yourself. You know your discs, you know your game plan. Go out and play, and then after it all you can talk about what discs you used, what worked, whatever.

Don't take this seriously (as I'm a rank amateur disc golfer), but I think you're doing something wrong. Top pros have said that rule #19 of being a great player is that "It's never your fault." It's always the disc, course, weather, luck, travel, bad sleep, etc. Based on this video, I'm blaming your tough round on "Denver," since it was oddly conspicuous in the narration, despite the round taking place in South Cackalacky. 😆
