Bode Miller was definitly the craziest person of all time on ski. But a genius also.

@@rolandegresits1403 both incredible in their own rights. Bode had the more out of control style, always making a recovery, but super fast. Hermann was just a BEAST that made each course his bitch. They both are some of the greatest athletes EVER, and what they both shared was insane strength and willpower.

I used to race against Bode in New Hampshire when I was young. Everyone was always talking about him, and made a huge deal about it when he was at a race. But I just assumed he was the best in NH, I didn’t realize he was the best in the world

Oh Pete, Pete. Dear God, Pete. You downhill guys, are fearless. The nutters of the ski world. We all admire the hell out of you. Of course you just thought he was the best in N.H. You were busy with your own sensory overload. Hope you still are, buddy. You inspire us all…

I'm a highlander. I've been skiing for 30 years, to be honest I'm good at it. And I will tell you that when I watch the movie, I find that the muscles in his legs are made of steel. World-class athlete.

He got, lifted pretty bad, many times-- in one segment? Lost speed / Kontrol! And weider(really out-the back)-- from many inside-- turns! How did he, get in first, the first pos?
@fk4410
@fk4410 2 жыл бұрын
He did all that without losing speed because he let the ski run on tge edge all the time even when he makes mistakes or is out if position. He can do that because he is a genius nobody can copy that

No he ran third but they ran a snow seed ahead of him due to soft new snow on the course. The snow seed guys would normally run 60th or so and yes possibly be that far behind. He likely won by a second or so
