Impressed with your video. So clear for me. Making a gathered waist dress with sleeveless top for my one year old granddaughter just as your video. Bright green fabric with light green leaves. 1/2” red ladybugs. Sewing wide red rick rack around neck and sleeves. Short lined bolero to match. Gathered skirt, zipper in back. Red Rick rack around waist and hemline. Wish I could attach a picture of my little ladybug with the dress on. Oh, and just above knee pantaloons to match with Rick rack at knee gather.

Thank you for this. I am so pleased that you demonstrated on a back buttoned bodice as this is the same as the dress I am making now. I had an idea how it should be done but was not at all sure. Now I have it confirmed. I like the style of your video. No chatting or fussing. Just a simple and straight forward video. I wish all videos were like this. Thank you again 😊

Thank you! I haven't done any sewing for 20 years and couldn't remember how I lined my babies' dresses. I tried another method on KZbin and failed miserably. This is it, the same way I did it all those years ago and you reminded me, it is so much easier than any other! I could hug you right now as I hop upstairs to start again on that dress for my grand baby 🤩

Most of the instructions are clear to see and understand, but the understitch step is missing and is not shown. Also, I see that the bodice was serged. This step is also not shown.

Thank you so much for providing this video. Believe it or not I've been sewing off and on for over 30 years and have been avoiding linings. With the help of this video I'm going to swallow hard and do it!😊

Once you get the hang-of-it, it's fun and gives a professional appearance on the garment.

Very informative, thank you. But, I wonder how you 'understitch' once you've pulled it right side out. TIA

Same. I finished the armholes with mine and then was completely stumped on how to do the understitching. I ended up just not doing it
