Excellent footage Matt diolch. We visited last week for a guided tour but could only get a self guided tour which was 10/10 the effects visually and physically were amazing wow worth every penny. Watching your vid afterwards was the icing on the cake. Cheers, North sheep 👍🏻

I remember my Dad taking me here in the early 90's as a kid. Wow it has changed. I remember the block before it was a hotel they had freaky mannequins hanging out the cell windows. Great vid.

I visited there myself very recently . The first part of the tour, 'The Dark Walk', is incredible ! The holographic projections and effects are brilliant . If you get the chance, do it! Highly recommended 👌 The execution room is worth a visit on its own 👏👏👏

Bodmin, my home town. I drive past the jail to the Camel Trail carpark to walk my dogs, Shame about the white elephant of the council owned car park opposite, now closed. It took a lot of open green space we used to walk the dogs on. As for the jail, never been inside.

Body shaped cages like that at 50:26 would have been used as part an execution practise known as 'Gibbeting', in which after being executed the criminals rotting body would be publicly displayed to try and deter others from criminality.

Them individual jail rooms could have been waiting cells for going up to the courthouse through that corridor whare the power station thing is now, what's at the other end of the corridor was there a court house next door or round about? These places normally have tunnels running underground to the court's, looks a cool place for a dayout love to see this all up n running!

Hate what they have done to the place. Regularly used to attend investigations at the gaol but before it was modernised.... much better then! Was lucky to be able to be in there on our own (2 of us) for the entire night Very creepy
