Gotta say, this is probably the single best installation video I have seen regardless of product. I don't even have doors yet, but watched the whole thing just because it was so well done. All of the seemingly simple things I see people gloss over in install vids were clearly covered. You're doing gods work!

I have the earlier version of these. They are great. Takes a bit of adjusting to get the correct fit but once you have the set up right it makes that satisfying 'clunk' when the door is secure and tight on closing. I wish I had this video for reference before I installed mine it would have been a lot easier.

Just installed mine today and I am so glad I found your video before I did. It made the process so much easier. Thank you for an amazing instructional video.

Got mine today, only problem was that you said the "Driver side" and hardware was in the "Clear" bags and the "Passenger side" was in the green. mine was just the opposite. had me scratching my head for a while. LOL!!

I did the same thing. Also, directions say to use only 2 bolts on latching mechanism and he uses 3. Which is correct?
@bryanmartin21444 жыл бұрын
@@7eremo 2 mount the bracket and 3 attaches the mechanism to the the bracket.

I have that on my JKU it’s good doors but the suck part is all bolts become rust and eyesore I am in middle of replace all of them into stainless steel. They should do that from factory instead of the one that will rust.

The directions show using only 2 bolts on the latching mechanism. Video says to use all 3 holes. Anyone know which is correct?

Great video but on a 98 tj the curved door bracket goes on the bottom straight on top this was the best video your installing on a newer model I think only difference

I think these doors as a set would look better if the rear doors were the same height as the front doors. A nice clean line running from front to rear.

Nice doors, I think I am going to get a pair for my 2 door, but replace all of the nuts and bolts with stainless steel socket cap screws to match similar bolts on my Jeep. Cheers from Canada.

Can I please get the part number for the mirrors and the latch assembly for the rear doors

When everyone says align right, im confused. My driver door rattles and doesnt seem to latch 100%. The other 3 are fine.

Man. I wish I had unlimited money too. I’d probably build mine almost exactly the same way. Looks good.

I have had 2 of these doors for years. 98 Jeep Wrangler two door. Does anyone know who I can contact to buy the Velcro web netting that goes on the doors? I cannot find anyone that sells them separately. Ref; The webbing, aka mesh panels

Haha! Not quite... Consider this a little peak into our production schedule during the Covid Quarantine! Also, there's a fun little easter egg in this video. If you've got a really keen eye, you might just notice it!

14:29 into the video, the door lifts up slightly while the padding is installed - is this normal? Wouldn't it, over time, damage the door/hinge?
@Quadratec4 жыл бұрын
Good eye Franco! Earlier in the video at 8:46, Rob actually mentions re-installing the door hinge pin retaining nuts, which would 100% prevent the doors from lifting up at all. However sometimes when we're filming our videos, we shoot different parts multiple times, and this was just one of those occurrences. At 14:29 when Rob was installing the mesh on the door, he (mistakenly) didn't install the hinge retaining nuts. Actually it's a pretty good illustration of why it's so important to use those retaining nuts whenever you have the trail doors on your Jeep to prevent them from accidentally being lifted up and out of the hinges.

Thank you for the reply. It perfectly makes sense.

If only they follow the contour of the vehicle to not look so off from the frame and one-another.
