Hate to nerd and correct ya, that is the correct version of than. Greater than, less than, lower than, higher than, it's a word used to help compare/contrast two things. Then is used more as a placement of time or a sequence of events. I find it so weird how easily those two words get confused. Nonetheless, great job putting him in his place!
