This song and music video came out six months before the George Floyd Riots took place in 2020. To some viewers and listeners, it is as if the band was predicting the future. Because of this, it is not a surprise to me why they won the 2021 Grammy Award for “Best Heavy Metal Song”.

Metalhead since I was 12. I know some folks in the metal scene aren't happy with this winning awards, and I'd bet none of them even gave this a chance. No matter how hard you blast beat or how fast you double bass, if you don't make good decisions behind the drum kit you don't get the crowd moving. The drummer that did this track I have to tip my hat to. Absolutely incredible track and album.

Dude, I grew up a hardcore kid in NJ and went to shows all the time. Body Count back then was something to laugh at. Fast forward to today, they're absolutely crushing this shit. They have a more 'heavy hardcore' sound than most hardcore bands it seems like nowadays. They know what they're doing and they do it well. The last record was awesome, this one seems to be as well.

Thforklift126 completely disagree, most hardcore bands these days sound a lot heavier, with only a small minority still doing the punk-hardcore sound, which is what this is very reminiscent of

Just discovered you guys while revisiting some of my favorite anarcho punk bands and making a playlist. Majority of the tracks are from the early 80s to about 2005. Just wanted to say that I added 5 of Body Count's songs so far, because they fit right in to that oldschool punk/anarcho/metal sound.
