Bodycount is underated. They blend rap and metal so well. It sounds naturally to me rather than a fusion. Good songs. When ever I tell people I like Ice Ts band they always get ignorant, till they hear it.

Here's what really hits close to home: while I wasn't exactly in South Central LA in Elementary School, I was fairly close. I was in 5th grade in Huntington Park when one of my best friends (who was also in 5th grade st my school) that we simply called 'Chili' was gunned down by gang members in broad daylight not too far away in South Gate. So while I'm NOT from South Central LA itself, because of that I can still somewhat relate to what the song's about.

I saw Body Count open for Manson, Zakk Sabbath, Rob Zombie and Ozzy NYE 2018. Loved all of them. BC's song tells a tale, but it's a choice. Another choice is to get an education, learn a trade, don't be a criminal, be a law-abiding American citizen. That second choice is the one every black young man should make. Then you won't have to worry about getting shot. Duh.
