Body discovered in the San Diego Bay

The body of a man was found floating Wednesday in the San Diego Bay. Port of San Diego Harbor Police say they were called just after 5:00 p.m. about a body floating in the water at the Embarcadero. Sgt Delapena says there are usually lots of people in the area, but they haven’t identified the person yet.
“The victim in this case was a white male, middle aged, with no obvious signs of trauma,” said Sgt. T.D. Delapena with the Port of San Diego Harbor Police.
Police say they called out the dive team to retrieve the man from the Harbor. They then brought in a medical team to examine the body.
“They’ll take fingerprints. If there were any IDs or possessions on the body, they will examine those and try to locate next of kin,” continued Delapena.
He also says based on the condition of the body they believe the man had only been in the water a short time.

Is that right? I just moved here a few months ago after 33 years in San Francisco, and have noticed I how people have gone missing, but now I’m hearing more and more about how bodies are being found randomly. 😓

@@albertg.2748 I lived in San Diego County for a few years, I relocated but keep up with the news, unfortunately deaths are everywhere. But this situation where bodies are being found in water throughout the county does stand out me. I hope there ISNT a connection & I am paranoid.

@@baileym7105 I lived in San diego my whole life, I know these situations can be scary. I suggest you stay in your homes, don't go anywhere pass midnight. You don't have to listen to me But I think this is probably a good idea. There is speculation of a serial killer but lets just pray there isn't and pray for the souls who passed away.

@@maroflight9234 san diego chula.vista police detectives have been at every house on the entire block looking for door cams of everyone looking for additional footage. At this point its as if she disappeared into thin air magically.

@Raul Magana What about Evey house on the entire block didn't you understand? Your answer is yes. The police did that very obvious thing and probably finished reviewing it all before you even thought of it. If they've found something, they are not obligated to tell anyone anything.
