Hi I have crazy dry skin - fully menopausal and lifelong eczema. My best tips are to use some active ingredients like AHA and higher percentage urea. I alternate days with a lactic acid lotion and a 10% urea cream (both followed by a rich body butter). This saves having to scrub sensitive skin and leaves skin actually moisturised. i like oils fine as a massage medium, but for me they're not enough alone for moisture. I do use heavy petroleum based ointments in the Winter on stubborn dry areas, but I apply a 30% urea cream first to actually tackle the issue (amazing on feet, knees and elbows). Urea cream can be used on active eczema patches, but lay off the AHA as it burns/stings on broken skin (obviously patch test the urea cream, but I've been using them for years without issue). I think adding in the more active ingredients has been game changing for my skin, which has also minimised my eczema patches - eczema patches tend to develop more when the skin is really dried out. A word of caution re the urea creams and it's about texture - higher percentage urea creams are always sticky as urea is a very sticky ingredient, but applying another moisturiser over it takes care of that issue beautifully (it's worth it for how effective it is). If I wasn't using the urea and lactic acid cream I would have to full body moisturise at least twice a day and would still be dry. Using them once a day is normally enough moisture to keep me comfortable for 24 hours. If you are struggling with dry skin then it's worth a try. Best wishes.

I save all of my regular pumps and spray pumps from various shapes, sizes, and colours of bottles. This way, I always have one to pop on a new product if it doesn't come with a "delivery system" I prefer. Recycle, baby :)

Amlactin lotion is a game changer and sold all over the place. I use on hands and feet every night and I’ve never had smoother skin. There’s a daily relief and a rapid one - I love them both (and you can apply to totally dry skin)

I use Weleda Skin Food on my face all the time! Seriously dry Canadian winter skin. I love the smell. It is very rich and I understand it wouldn’t be for everyone.

I bought this based on a dermatologist you tube. Kerasal Intensive Foot Repair. You can get it at drug store or Walmart. It is amazing. Use a little on your feet before bed and wear socks because it is a Vaseline consistency and in three days you will see a huge difference.

Thai Lime Makrut is my holy grail. I wish there was a perfume and a whole range in that smell. My favourite scent of all time. I was really disappointed with the Soul Provider Scrub. If you can get Sanctuary products in the US try their salt scrub. Way more effective and better value for money.

What’s the best body oil that you would recommend from all the 3-4 you have shared?

Probably not good for the drain, but I just squeeze a bunch of baby oil into my bath water lol. Feel like a slippery seal after every bath 😂 works great.

Hello! I’m wondering if either of you have tried the magnesium body range by Ren? It’s supposed to be great for relaxation. I believe they have a bath/shower gel and a body oil, but they’re pricey and I was wanting an honest review before I splurged. Talking of which, I have the Pistaché cream in my Amazon basket right now 😮

Funny you asked because we filmed a “products we didn’t love” video after this and D featured that ren body wash/lotion. I will say the bath oil from that range is dreamy and I have repurchased! Love ren products so much, but the lotion made me itchy.
