Omg you have had me rolling with laughter in these videos. Thank you so much. I've had 4 laparoscopic surgeries to remove endometriosis and fibroids. I'm heading to my doctor Friday to ask for the hysterectomy she tried to get me to do years ago. Why didn't I listen? My uterus has never given me anything but pain. I feel it's time we go our separate ways.

I just had a radical hysterectomy and I stayed in the hospital for 2 days but I didn't want to come home then. It was a 2 hour drive home from the hospital.

Amen, sister. I am getting ready for my total hysterecomy and excision surgery. Like you, I'm getting one last cycle right before the surgery. Good riddance! Thanks for the ideas for the recovery kit.

My period just ended before I had surgery 😂. The suppositories have been the best for me after surgery. I just couldn’t strain.

Omg I have just stumbled across your video while I sit here two days post op! I was diagnosed adenomyosis and while in there she found endometriosis aswell! I’m in pain now but so looking forward to putting all of this behind me . Unfortunately some endometriosis remains as it’s attached to bowel but at will be monitored. Thanks for sharing your story x

I'm 9 days post Da Vinci hysterectomy. I am having weird feelings where my uterus and large fibroid use to be. Not sure what that is about. Not really painful just different. I was lucky to only need narcotics for a couple days. I just don't know what the appropriate level of activity is and my be pushing to hard. I hate feeling "lazy"

I can only take Tylenol and ibuprofen for pain. It’s working. Everybody is different. I actually feel better with it out.

Thank you for sharing your story!! I had stage 4 endo, had two surgeries for it before I had my twins, and preparing for another surgery due to increased pain. A hysterectomy is a possibility this time so I'm trying to prepare myself. Would love if you could do a follow up video on how you're feeling a couple years out from surgery, what it's like having your ovaries but no uterus, anything you'd like to share. I'm 33 also so your experience would be great to hear about.

Wow in England they would never discharge a patient this quick. In England patients would stay in hospital over night for 1-2 nights minimum and they would monitor urine output (measuring it) for 12 hours. I had a three hour endo surgery without hysterectomy and I was kept in 2 nights and given blood thinners and urine output measured 12+ hours.

I'm having hysterectomy in 3 weeks. My life has been hell for 10 years with fatigue, heavy periods and anemia that I wasn't aware of. And I also thought I had colon cancer at some point. I could have solved my problem so much earlier lol. But I also just went on and ignored it. Bleeding volume increased so much that I took a sick day on first day of periods and wanted to use adult diapers for periods. Then went for a good checkup and they found my super enlarged uterus.

2 weeks and 2 days ago I had the complete surgery. I’ve done great, until this morning, constipation has me in severe pain - I’ve done everything to prevent this, must have been the cheese I had 3 days ago.

I know you made this video a while ago, but I'm facing a hysterectomy for endo, fibroids, and possibly adenomyosis. Though it is something that I always knew I probably would need, it came as a bit of a shock when the doctor first purposed it. I was extremely depressed and cried for weeks. My number one fear is that I wouldn't like makeup or beauty, that I would no longer be a woman; I wouldn't be desirable. Seeing these beauty KZbinrs make videos about their hysterectomy has helped me so much. It's greatly appreciated.

Gm I found your video as I was getting ready for work. Listening as I dress. I have a total hysterectomy next week 8/15 and I am petrified. Like I've already had a panic attack because I'm afraid I won't wake back up. Do you have any encouraging words that can help me out? Thank you

What you went through 2 years ago represents my current day life! This is Day 3 post-op from my laparoscopic hysterectomy and I’m so glad that my lowest, “down in the dumps” emotions have been validated. The incision pain, the gas pains, THE CONSTIPATION… all of it has me in tears. I’m 53, was in menopause for 2 years and had developed uterine fibroids. I know that this was the best decision for my situation, but I have been second guessing this every second of the day for the past 72 hours. Thank you for taking the time to document this for the rest of us to hear and understand. Thank you for being so true, so honest and helpful. It reminds us that we’re not alone in this journey.

I have my surgery in 4 weeks. Even if recovery is awful… honestly dealing with all of this shit for years.. It can’t be much worse 🤷♀️ I’m in Awful pain half of the month like I have to have help just walking to the bathroom. And I’m EXHAUSTED every single day. I think most people who have to have this done have already been to the pits of hell. I’m expecting the worst and hoping for the best❤ Thanks for all the info

Hi there, just happened upon your videos on your hysterectomy in doing research. Really appreciate you posting it, and how this tupe of surgery is like. Noticed it's been 2yrs, how do you feel now? I am considering having the surgery since i have painful periods etc. Just concerned about many of the things you mentioned already in the video, but also concerned about later stuff like how sex is with no cervix, the risk of prolapse after a few years, vaginal dryness, do the mood swings get better, metabolism slows down, weight gain due to less hormone production, etc. These are things I have read that could be a concern. Just curious to see how your experience has been now after a couple of years.

I had a Myomectomy a month ago. I had no pain after, but I did get Ileus (lazy bowel), which was the worst. But I'm much better now. I'm also still dealing with GERD from not eating before and after surgery

I had robotic hysterectomy 10 days ago and I will tell u the first 2 days were hell and the only thing that gave me relief was a heating pad on my back.I will say I only took one oxycodone at the hospital before leaving and took nothing else for pain because my pulse rate and oxygyn level dropped very low so i was scared to take anything. It all normalized on the 3 day. Also i was expecting to hurt in my stomach but nope it was really horrible back pain.Again heating pad to the back helped me.Do not put a heating pad on your stomach u need ice for that.Oh and I did not need really any pads.I lightly spotted for 2 days then nothing.
