My baby woke up and climbed into my bed, I went into her room to wake her and finding her missing was the worst 15 mins of my life. I ran out the door calling her name, asked my neighbors (we were on a military base) they all started looking. I went up to my room to call my husband in tears and almost sat on her. She crawled out of the covers and said "hi mommy" I was holding her and crying. I came out the door in tears and explained, she had woken up and wanted to snuggle in mommy's bed, and she was so tiny looking at my bed I couldn't see her. Grown soldiers started to cry that she wasn't really missing. How these people can act when their child is missing is beyond me. She is now 25, and I have told her that story a few times. She laughs, but my heart still skips a beat.

I don’t get it either. One time I was staying at a hotel with some family and my son knew how to open the doors with long handles and they just so happened to have those. He was 1.5 at the time. Well there was a small hallway leading to the door and the bathroom door on the right, with a small kitchen nook in the middle. I freaked out when I couldn’t spot him after seeing him by the doors and I heard a door shut but didn’t see which one it was. They were blocking the hallway being in the kitchen nook area. I pushed passed them and went straight to the door to the room. When I didn’t see him my heart dropped and I started panicking, I checked the bathroom to find him playing in the toilet and I just cried while holding him because I thought he was gone. My mother in law stated I had PPD and need therapy. Like, no I thought my child was gone tf. So no, I don’t get how these parents can just abuse these kids, allow abuse to happen, neglect them, not care about them missing, etc. it’s infuriating and heartbreaking.

I had a dream that I took my daughter to the beach and there was a new thing where you could sort of fly them in the air like a kite, so we were doing that and then the sky turned dark and stormy and the strong came down without her on it. I ran along the beach screaming and found a policeman on the phone and he was taking about a dead baby that has been found. I woke up crying and she was next to me. Even though it was just a dream it was one of the worst things that ever happened to me xxx

OMG, girl..similar thing happened to me. My daughter was just about a year old, we laid down for a nap one day and when I woke up, she was not in bed with me. Now, she was not the type of baby who could get up and not wake me up too. She is physically incapable of doing anything quietly and always has been. Anyhow, I go into the living room, she is not there. She is not in any room of the apartment. The really strange thing is that both doors that lead outside have difficult to open locks way up at the tops of the doors. So high up that there was just no way at all that she could reach them. And anyway, both locks are still locked from the inside. For ten minutes, I am running around the apartment growing more hysterical with each passing second. After another few minutes I am heading out the door, even though there is no way she could have exited the apartment, but... she is not in the apartment, I have looked everywhere, she is not there! Right as I am opening the door, bawling hysterically by now, I happen to notice my dog very interested in a wicker laundry hamper in a corner of the laundry area, sniffing and wagging his tail excitedly. Open the lid on the hamper and inside of it sits the child who literally cannot even be quiet in her sleep, completely silent, but with the biggest, most evil smile on her face. SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING! Not even a year old yet and doing that shit to laugh at me.. Child is the damn devil! 😂🤣

I got a call from my husband telling me our 3-year-old son was missing, and he could not find him. We lived in an apartment close to a busy road; I worked across the street. I was home in two minutes. The police were already there helping my husband, and the neighbors looked for my son. By this time, he had been missing for almost 30 minutes. I was terrified; everyone called his name, looking everywhere for him. I happened to drop something next to a square table in my living room; curled up under that table was my son fast asleep. He had been there the whole time! When I burst into tears as I pulled him out, screaming, I found him! The police neighbors had the biggest smiles on their faces. The police had looked through our apartment twice and did not find him. I tell my son this story, and we joke about how he could sleep through anything; now, he is 29. I have never been more terrified and overjoyed in one day than I was on that day.

My grandma lost me when I was little. I had a little plastic pool you buy at Walmart. I came in an told her I was done. She told me to go change my clothes I like 4 or 5. She looked everywhere called the police and everyone. I was in the bottom of her bed fast asleep. The cop picked that’s blanket up and picked me up. I was so damn scared. Not as scared as they were. They looked the whole farm, the cistern, the whole house, and stopped traffic on both ends of our road which was about 10 miles long. I’ll never forget that. Or the time my brother and sister broke the dogs water bowl on the back porch and my grandparents. We all lived close together. I found em at our house under our moms bed. I grabbed their feet. They were cold. I start bawling. I thought they were dead. They were just sleeping and their feet were freezing. I was like 12-13.

@@bfamily6209 when a 12 year old finds a sibling under the bed and has to assume that their skin is cold because they're dead then maybe something in society needs to fucking change. What a terrible thing to say, but you are spot on. Here's one worse. I had a lady call me once, asking me how I felt about abortion. I asked her if she would let the baby grow to full term...then I paused and she jumped in and shouted that exactly how we feel, then I continued saying wait I'm not finished, then let people put in an order for the body parts they want, and then we could harvest the parts, that way nothing would go to waste. A long pause followed by a choked gasp, I can't believe you said that. Well I did say it, but I am against abortion, and love those little babies. We have four beautiful children and love every one of them. NOW here comes yet another gross story. After my first wife gave birth to our first daughter, I came home to find my wife and her mother were brewing up some witches brew. I asked what it was and she said it was for her daughter to take to abort the baby she was carrying. I blew a gasket, and said if you harm that baby God help you, because you are going to need his help. That baby went on to suffer for years to come, and became my favorite child if there was a favorite. She is 59 years old this date. OK I am finished and I am 83 years old with four kids, eight grandkids, and eleven great grandkids and counting. OK I'm finished yeaaaa!

Her father was a dead beat who left and her mom was sick in hospital. Foster care got a tip from a teacher who overheard a conversation on the play ground and called authorities. To be fair a 10/12 year old girl shouldn't be home alone but it's not like she was abused or hurt in anyway. Just a bad situation. This was early 2000s.

I remember my mom taught me what to do, if "you feel like your gonna lose it".... She said to go ahead and put the baby in her crib and shut the door and turn up the radio real loud!! Not to worry if the baby is screaming. It won't hurt her and gives you a chance to step away. When you're calm peek in on her, make sure she's ok. The baby will be fine if she cries herself to sleep once or twice . It helped me not to get frazzled as a new mom. It's a lot of pressure to be a new mom and especially if you have little support and you have to learn how to navigate motherhood, thinking a baby is supposed to stop crying when you "do everything right"

@alicecuriosityoftenleadsto6288 Жыл бұрын
Probably the most heartfelt comment on here. Seriously Mamas, its okay to put the baby in the crib and step out to calm down. Motherhood can be amazing but it will have very hard moments too. Ask for help if you can. Plan for when its overwhelming like you plan what to do in a fight with your spouse. Do WHATEVER you have to do to keep them safe and know that any Mom that acts like they don't ever go thru this either has a bunch of help or is lying. For me it was when my daughter had colic. Months of on/off crying. I was 20. I remember sitting on the hood of our car crying while she screamed in her carseat. I was so tired. It was very hard. We did get through it and she is 24 now. Thank God. She is my heart. But we need to be open about these things and if we have an opportunity we should try to be there for other Moms (or Dads!) that are going through these things. 💕

I think society needs to stop pushing the agenda that all women are made to be mothers. Thats highly toxic religious approach that simple is a lie. If women weren't brainwashed into reproduction from childhood many of them wouldn't chose to give birth and we would have less issues like that... I know women who thought they want children until they got them - and now its too late so both mothers and kids suffer while "dads" legged without any responsibility... This poor child shouldn't never be in that house with those people

I know everyone reacts differently to situations. But… When my eldest daughter was 18 months old we lived in a small house. I went to the bathroom and didn’t even shut the door the whole way. I was pregnant with my second baby. I came out and the house was silent, I called her name and looked in the bedrooms. I began to panic. I looked under beds, in cupboards, behind the lounge. I have never felt so sick in all my life. I ended up outside screaming her name out looking in yards because I couldn’t find her, the neighbours came out, I went back in the house so distraught to call my husband, the neighbours called the police, I wasn’t crying, I was wound up like a taught spring, shaking and sick, dizzy almost, I could barely breathe as I was dialing my husband, I heard a chuckle, I looked down and there she was. She had hidden herself in the small cabinet that the phone sat on…she smiled at me and said ‘peek a boo’, I burst into tears. Having a child go missing is a horrid feeling and one I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

I had a child whose one elbow came out of the socket very easily. Found that out when we were walking and I was holding her hand and she began to fall I lifted her up by her arm felt a pop and her bone came out of her socket and she screamed l took her to the doctor and they put it back in place. Then my ex was in the pool with them and lifting them up by their arms and just throwing them into the water. They were having a great time until the same thing this kid screamed. He took her to the er as we were from out of town and they said he was abusing her. He was not, Then she was playing with some kids and they were swinging the younger kids around and around with their two arms. Same thing happened l my dad let them walk up his body and he would swing them around to land on their feet and again it happened. I got worried it seemed to be easier and easier for that arm to come out. So our family doctor sent me with her to a specialist and he took an X-ray and said the socket was jsut a little to shallow for the bone to stay in place but give her time to grow and it will stay in place. So we put a huge tattoo ( the kids one ) on that hand to remind others not to pull on it and it’s worked. The doctor said give it six months and it will be ok. So we did that

I'm a firm believer in just having a firing squad available for people who are convicted of harming a child immediately after sentencing. Same for murder with any aggravating factors. I absolutely think it would be a strong deterrent, because as a society we just keep getting more of what we tolerate by not having severe enough punishment. This woman also should at the very least undergo sterilization before she is sent back out into the community, but that won't happen either. So sad for that baby that her mother is a monster.

I agree it's beyond frustrating when you see and hear stories like this and that devastating case about the 8 year old boy Gabriel Iglesias I believe his name is and countless DCF and people of authority failed him. People who should clearly not be around children have them and others who are incredible parents get their children ripped away for that don't deserve such brutal punishment like taking away their babies

Every single picture of this beautiful baby shows clearly she was afraid, apprehensive. It was her eyes. Not one pic showed a happy baby. Gives me chills to look at her. I know this case has been resolved but it breaks my heart to see these babies being tortured and killed. I'm old and cranky but I have come to believe that mandatory sterilization should be a punishment for people who abuse children. Don't just take away the kids but don't let that parent make more babies. Why should they be allowed to have more babies that they're going to abuse. How many children have to die until the law offers a hard core punishment. Life in prison, yes. Having more children, no.

I’ll never forget this case. I live in Toledo, Ohio and my heart was so heavy when I first heard about Elaina. My daughter was the same age as her at the time and I think that’s what made me extra sensitive to this case. Elaina would of been 10 years old right now 😔 They had the dog search the area and they wouldn’t let the dog in the garage at first because the smell was so bad. I just didn’t understand that… they said they were worried about the dogs “sense of smell” getting corrupted by the stench… like what!?? They’re trained to smell dead bodies!! But they said they didn’t think the smell was from a decomposing body. The dogs literally keep hitting on the garage but they just looked through the garage real quick then came right back out… I was so heated when I first heard about that!! They could of found her sooner!! Smh. That’s why she didn’t want to talk on the topic because they messed up with not allowing the dogs go inside the garage even after they “showed interest” in the back. What ended up happening was.. the mom and boyfriend wanted to have sex and the baby wouldn’t stop crying… so she admitted hitting the baby and throwing her across the room. When she was seen kissing the baby I think that was after the incident and she might of felt bad and that’s why she was hugging and kissing on the baby. Meanwhile she had internal injuries which later she died from. Thankfully she died in her sleep… but her mother should of taken her to the hospital.. who cares if you couldn’t explain her injuries… that’s your baby, get her the help she needs!!!! Smh. Then the boyfriend was the one who hide the body in the rafters of the garage ceiling. I never got over her death 😔 I know the neighborhood wanted to demolish the and I think they ended up doing that but I’m not sure. I’d have to look it up… but this tragedy will always stick with me.. I seriously think it’s because my daughter and her were the same age and I was just picturing it being my baby. When I’d watch the news and seen her pictures they made me sad because there wasn’t any pics of her smiling… I remember waking up in the middle of the night just thinking about her and I didn’t even know her personally… it was just to close to home and I couldn’t shake it 💔 RIP Baby Elaina 🕊

Afterwards I vomited because I was so scared. That panicked/hysterical feeling is something I will never forget. I'm 54 now....and all my life I've met so many people who were abused as children. Some have offered up the information on first meeting! Many have said mid conversation: ''obviously I was abused"...and Ive thought why would that be obvious? I also once walked past a poster on the bus stop which read: 7 out of 10 people who read this were abused as children,!! (I can't remember if it specified sexual abuse or meant all types of abuse)...but I thought no way can it be that high! But now I don't doubt. I never considered myself a victim of childhood abuse. I had great parents and family...but once, the doctor made a house call, I was sick in bed. He sent my mother out the room to get a glass of water...or some other excuse. As soon as she was gone....he tried forcing his hands into my underwear...I was about 9 or ,10...I wrestled him off. Which made him angry. He said ',how else can I examine you,?" I knew that wasn't what he was doing? I didn't tell my mother till I was an adult. She then told me another doctor in the practice had groped her breasts....she hadn't told anyone either! Another instance: my friends and I went swimming every weekend. A man from the area who knew our families would be there....and he insisted on teaching me to swim 'properly' (I could swim)...he'd have his hands underneath supporting my body. I stopped going swimming. A male teacher put his hand up my skirt when I was 13, and walking up the stairs in front of him!! My point is....I'd be included in that 7 out of ,10 statistic. And probably lots of people would who never suffered abuse at home. But maybe had singular instances of abuse as children, but wouldn't consider themselves an abused child. I've heard other stories of perverted doctors. And wouldn't leave a child alone with a doctor ever. Especially now that men can legally masquerade as women. I don't care if that offends anyone, there are way more cases of male sex offenders, and women are being abused by men pretending to be women, but the establishment craftily class it as a woman attacking another woman. Because these men are female in the eyes of the law. There's also a push by the establishment to normalise paEdophilia! Because these sickos run the world! They're in the government, the police, they're teachers and doctors. They're everywhere...it's an epidemic! They're even changing the language to make it seem less gross...ie.. 'minor attracted person'...instead of filthy child raping paedophile! It's up to us all to speak up and not to go along with it.

Reading your post reminded me of a Black man who I saw in a video two years ago. He was in his 50s and talked about being sexually abused more than once. He even went into a story about an adult male who tried to molest him. I've seen many victims of sexually molested victims. And it's heartbreaking. But what stood out to me was this middle-aged adult man who was still broken. He was stuck at the age where he was still that child. Tears roll down my eyes as I type this about Elaina, that man and many children who were and are victims of abuse. If it are sexual and violence. It breaks you on many layers and levels. I'm hoping that I'm wrong here. But I wouldn't be surprised if the mother pimped her baby out for her drug fix. Sadly. This happens often, and it might possibly be the reason why she's said.

Took her out in the porch , no toys to play with , I think being on camera was her motive for taking Alaina out there

Nancy Grace has heard so many stories like this, she always skeptical. I’m with her. Could’ve given baby to daddy.

Folks can say all they want but Nancy Grace is all about justice and especially for children. She is an asset to the lost and missing community. She has tremendously wonderful skills. Even if you don't like her delivery. Thank you, Nancy.

Im sorry. Nancy is all about the ratings and money. She said in video look at the mother? She loved that baby. Then in the interview she says, I knew from the beginning that someone was lying. Yeah it was Nancy.

I don't know if anyone else noticed how sad this child looked in all her pictures. Also as far as Mom holding, kissing her daughter on the porch... Mom new the video camera was there. My personal opinion is Mom was just putting on an act.

Yes! It didn’t seem real to me I felt like she was very aware of the cameras and maybe the baby was already abused at that point and she was setting up an alibi or footage of her being a “good mom”

Maybe when it comes to missing children , officers should go through every home in these cases with a K9 officer before spending $ and time with water searches. We have seen this many times.
