The new crew is forcing Richard to do boss things, when you remove the fake discovery tension issues from the old show, the crew did it their way more often than not, this crew is bringing options and forcing him to make a decision. When the side panels are stamped, left and right body panels can be somewhat different. So flipping them could and most likely Not match up.. I worked at GM Truck and Bus Stamping Plant in Indianapolis.. Trust me, left and right body panels are not exactly the same. DIe panels in forming/stamping machines are not mirror images. Metal shrinkage in cold forming is enough to cause differences not attributed to forming die differences. They're close but flipping panels would stick out like a sore thumb. Good Thinking though!

For some reason my brain keep saying, "are you ABSOLUTELY SURE, the firewall position is set, prior to moving the wheel wells?" I would think it would have been smart to take the outer dual wheel off the new truck, and set the bus on the chassis, and make sure the firewall, dash, engine, etc. spacing is correct, then you KNOW exactly where the wheel wells will be. Hope it all lines up!!

@@markgriffin4888 I don't entirely disagree, he may have it all figured out, but my point is, the hard part is stitching in that firewall, and the easy part is moving the rear wheel well. I would think you would want the front done first, JUST IN CASE you made a mistake or something didn't fit like you planned, and it is still easy to adjust the rear, what happens if they are off a 1/4" probably not that big of a deal, but 1"? now you have to rework everything you did already.
