Yo Iain Happy birthday yeew , Have question about Go pro im willing to get the 11 to use for surfing but i heard even tho it s waterproof it the screen get foggy from inside which means the water enter ? and others their camera becomes defective over time while surfing cuz of water , any tips of what to do and what to not ?

I haven’t had too many issues with them and I use it more than the average person. The key is to look after them and try to clean and maintain them as well as you can.

Mine are those full top to bottom rolls coming out off second reef by Mike Stewart in those 90s victorys out of the pocket right after the boil, into a giant three to 4 foot over the top extension. Not on the end section, but coming right out of the thickness! What's your favorite maneuver to do?

Thanks for the wishes. I like a good clean roll but they are pretty heavy on the shoulders. I really enjoy big backflips! They feel good when they are clean and smooth!

H🎉B🎉 ! And one technical question Ian: when you ride a wave and then you finish inside the wash...do you rather try keeping holding to the BB or do you leave it go? Cose i try to remain stick to it even in a wash up but not sure it's worth. Same when you duckdive some broken waves in the foam and in low sea, when you got no space to avoid the wave under sea current...do you duckdive leaving the board or not!? Thanks m8

What’s you encounter with sharks like in SA Ian? I’ve seen a few during my local in aus NSW is it any worse in SA?

I had one encounter with a bronze whaler but pretty minor stuff if I’m being honest. Most of the time I had a spotter on the rocks so I wasn’t too worried about sharks. But they do hang around.
