I absolutely do not mean this disrespectfully at all but I’ve never seen someone with such an impressive physique seem so unfamiliar with bodybuilding movements 😂 just goes to show CrossFit really works!
@phil5037 Жыл бұрын
He may be unfamiliar but his form and tempo were better than 99% of people who prioritize these in the gym. He’s also trained with Chris Bumstead. So…

bodybuilding has a massive carry over not only with injury prevention and working the smaller muscle groups. we smash the compound lifts all the time but never work the small muscles that support the bigger muscles thats when bodybuilding comes into it. Girls benefit massively from this a great way to get stronger faster without smashing the body with heavy compound lifts all the time.

I did SOOO much of this bodybuilding stuff from age 16 to 32.... I don't miss it at all. And I'm significantly bigger now after 9 years of CF. Seeing this is a reminder how much I don't wanna do that again. haha.

u definitely weren't training or eating right then. By its name BODYBUILDING the goal is to build the body. Cf doesn't produce a better muscular physique than bbing lol

10:32 Mirrors definitely help with form on some lifts, but not all. Mainly for checking depth and range of motion. Some people need to see how shallow they’re squatting.

This is what traditional boxes need to do. All they do is front loaded strength and a wod and that’s it. Ppl build Muscle Imbalances and get hurt

I think you will be successful in whatever you choose. If you do step away from CrossFit for a bit, do you think you could come back and compete at the same level? Either way, you've definitely left a positive mark on the CF community and I wish you the best in whatever endeavor you choose to take. We'll all be watching!

There’s a place and time for all things. I love all the leg movements for activation, rehab, prehab type intentions. There’s nothing wrong with any of these movements- it all about intention.

I think this could be really great for Noah considering the shape and condition he’s already in and what he already knows about nutrition. This could go really well for him because at some point he’ll realize you can’t be competitive in the sport without doing juice and that’s just the honest truth. Either way good luck and god bless on your journey. 👊💪🙏🏻

Looking good!!🤩 I'd say try some bodybuilding if you want to! Several top body builders turned pro natural, by then, you'd know if it's something you'd want to continue doing! Keep up the great work! Waiting "notsopatiently" for the open to start🤣

Nice to see a Crossfitter that doesn't talk crap about bodybuilding style training. All training styles have pros and cons and any form of Physical Activity is better than none. There is no need to talk bad about bodybuilding to promote Crossfit
@strongbodystrongmiind Жыл бұрын
Usually it's the opposite. I've never heard a CF talk bad about body building. It's always BB talking bad about CF
@samuele.marcora Жыл бұрын
@@strongbodystrongmiind every time I have heard Glassman talking about training, he is criticising bodybuilders for doing only exercises like bicep curls or lateral raises (which isn't true, they also do a lot of compound exercises)

For how to translate the back row machine to Crossfit how about rowing or pulling objects like you at rogue where you pulled a weight by a rope up the ramp?

That damn stair climber is brutal. I use it between sets for 5 minute interval. Only thing better is the mountain climber machine. I use to use that with a 75 lb backback in my 20s to train for long distance backpack trips.
