to answer some of your question (as a reissad studio team member), the game is constantly being optimised, the 2 devs use a 3090 and a 3060 for it, FG is broken if you turn it on, off, on, off etc...., lots of things are planned!

I think when you tried the RTX 4080, Framegeneration worked. And I think the mistake is the Implementation, you just can Activate FSR FG if you set FSR to anything different the off, Quality FSR must be enabled if I remember correctly :D The Framegen fields doesnt gray out as in other games, if FSR is disabled. I've noticed that for some reason graphic engines are particularly good at doing lighting in overcast or twilight. Is not just this game, if you look for graphics mods or ENBs for games like GTA 4-5 or CP2077, the best lighting is usually under those 2 conditions, at least when it comes to looking realistic.

Hey Kryzzp, I’m not sure if you know, but Fortnite has recently added a shader precompilation step in DX12 mode that takes place during the loading screen of a battle royale match, so the stutters are pretty much fixed for good now. Unless Epic breaks something again, lol

i believe that you can not see what fsr frame generations actual outputted frame rate is, i believe you need to use certain performance overlays or something right? i know on my rx 6800 that i have to use radeon overlay, so not sure how it works for nvidia

4k is not native because you have unreal upscaling enabled. This is why you don't get a boost with FSR...right?

idk if they fixed FG in the last couple days but I was using it w a 6700xt n I went from like median 40-50 fps all epic settings to like 144+ but it'll still give a performance boost if u disable it right after enabling it but you'll only have very minor quality distortion, lil glitch I use to run the game on the same lvl as these ppl w 3,000 dollar pcs, but I do find that u have to re enable and disable it everytime you restart the game. hopefully they never fix this glitch cuz I get almost native quality while getting the performance boost from the FG and fsr

I don't think that the difference between 4080 super and 4090 is like 28-30 fps vs 50 +. Most likely they optimised the game more now. The difference should be like 35-40 fps vs 50 +

Why is this game so popular when you need such a high end PC to even play it well? I guess gamers are just desperate for ANTHING different as most Dev (funders) seem to be chasing Fortnite/Valorant type game models. Considering this is PC only and it takes such a high end system.. after every death the game should tell you what CPU and GPU you were killed with. What? An FX-4300 and GT 730 with just 8 GB ram? I feel like the title is a stupid premise. There's 2 types of realistic graphics, one is computationally accurate and the other is artistic. Bodycam graphically isn't anything special, it uses nice quality textures and the lighting palette has been cleverly chosen that gives it's particular look which is seems other games are already choosing.

Can you do a test with all cores active, because in my case , I lost around 10+ fps when I activated Turbo Game Mode in the BIOS, which deactivated the non v cache cores I notest in games like COD and Battlefield they use 10 cores maybe that's why im geting more fps with all cores activated insted of 8 cores. Afterburner just feels like extra software on my PC i don't need. Also i really don't like that they try and get you to download Norton. Personally i find Adrenaline to be superior to all 3. It does everything. But you need an AMD card to enjoy that.
