We call ourselves bodymen and painters, but you prove the process is engineering solutions to specific needs. Great video and nice engineering!

You can also use equithane horse shoeing product . It is a two part product with various hardness and drying times. Depends on which product you get. It is more of a epoxy product so it will not wear like plastic filler.

Wow! With an exothermic reaction that high, I am curious of plastic wrap and a 2-Part Epoxy found in bulk. Not knowing the cutting temperatures, many materials would melt. Thanks for another metal tool for the brain box! DK, Omaha, NE.

Xlnt content and tips. Restoring the bed on my 69C10 and the floor raised ribs were a pain.Made my sanding block using epoxy resin. Got so hot it warped! Thru it away and made it multiple layers of body filler, much better! Thnx for ALL your vids! Didn’t know you were near Sandy eggo!👍👍👍

Gives me more ideas for different sanding points on the car...I would use that technique for body lines 😎.. especially when your body lines need stay true and straight or if you have curved body lines like my Monte Carlo.

I've done this in the past but never thought to mic the thickness of the sandpaper. I would just eyeball it and guess how many layers of tape to put on the panel. Measuring it makes a lot of sense. Thanks!

Very Interesting, Excellent as always. I'm no body man, but I had always wondered if this sort of thing was being done as it seems like the only way you could sand complex beads like that. Very Cool, keep it up

Great videos and an awesome sanding solution you presented here! I was wondering If you "burn through" to the underlying base DP90 epoxy if you would spot in some more VP2050 before going to final paint or would it be fine to have some DP90 showing?

Dp90 is perfectly fine to paint over 👌🏻
