The pressure is totally normal with those boxes, don’t change anything about the breather, but you absolutely need to get the 2 covers that protect the lower oil seal on that new gearbox. Both are missing on your machine which is the reason the first box failed. Also if the bolts securing the box failed it’s probably due to a dry pto profile between the 2 gearboxes, one of the most important grease points on Pottinger mowers, that and the conditioner bearings 👍👍👍

Pretty impressive that you can go that fast. Vibration becomes an issue at that speed things start to shake loose and fall off.

That was a nice speed mowing video with a capable mower for sure, the high light for me is the 2910? tractor with no limits so to speak with you sit on at the end. lol If a Big pack Krone baler was wheel driven from ground friction then Jacob would pull it...😂😂👍👍

Jacob I would like to have temp sensors on both gearboxes. On your dash have gearbox 1 and gearbox two. Just one extra plug to make good while hooking up. My bet is this runs off the high speed pto. Yes oil makes a lot of difference when having gearbox that are this high a speed. The reason I mention sensors is the higher the tractor speed the warmer these gearbox will run, so to optimize speed of cut and gearbox life ya'll can then balance the two.

Jacob , it seems to me that there should be a shield of heavy enough material as to not bend back in front of the vertical drive shaft. So your cut material can slide around it instead of into it. I noticed another place I would keep my eye on and that is where the whole cutter head fasteners to the boom. It looks to me to be a very serious stress point. My two cents You were clipping right along ! Pun intended .

The quickest ill go with my disc mowers is 20km/h (12mph). You can sure cover some ground fast even only cutting 7ft wide.

I’ve gat a kubota disk mower dm1020 I thank I love it but wish I had the conditions on it like you and I have ben running it with a 7060 allis wish I wood have gat a bigger mower lol that tractor don’t know it is behind it when mowing
