Probably a GE 90, if those are offered to me, because they're awesome! Otherwise, I'd choose a Rolls-Royce Trent 800, because they're not as heavy and don't guzzle as much fuel as the PW 4090s. Oh, and the PWs generate a ton of smoke and noise. :)

There are 360º in a circle.. Each run way can be used in both directions.. The sign was giving the heading for both.. It would be 25 from one end, and 07 from the other end.. If there are the letters ( L or R ) on the sign, that's because there are 2 run ways side by side.. So on one end, you would have 25R and 25L and on the other end, you would have 7R and 7L ( this means right or left for the pair of run ways ) In some cases, you might have 3 run ways side by side.. In that instance, you would have: 25R / 25C / 25L which means Right, Center, and Left... I hope this helps?

u know they been landing fine for literally decades right? one crash doesnt mean all their pilots are bad. I highly doubt the majority of air france pilots are bad even though AF447 killed 300 people because the FO flew it into a stall.

nope you're both wrong. There is no -200F since there is only one version so it is just the 777F. It's absolutely not a 777LR without windows. There are certain features in the cockpit the have been changes like packs etc. The 777LR has no PDUs and is defenitely not cargo configured.

RobinR Have you heard of the 747-400F or 757-200PF? The 777F (its marketing name since Boeing doesn't plan to ever make a 777-300F) is 209 ft 1 in long- therefore it is a -200. Of course the packs are changed- there are no passengers requiring complex air conditioning- it's just freight requiring temperature control (in addition to the standard "cabin" pressurization). So the controls are simplified. Of course the 777-200LR is not cargo configured- it's not a freighter. Here is a question for you, Robin... is the 777F a -200 or a -300?
