The Boeing 777's cockpit's overhead panel has a lot of controls. The seatbelt sign switch and the no smoking sign switch [yes, the no smoking sign still can be turned off, otherwise there would be an INOP sticker over the switch] both feed into the chime electronics.

Hello, quick question, why is the chime different tones sometimes? Like for example, the first one has a lower tone but the last has a high pitched tone. They are both the 777-300ER, and they're both played when the seatbelt sign is turned off. Why is that? Thanks

Honestly I have no idea but I think it depends on the company supplying the cabin interior to the aircraft manufacture or airline. :)

is the 777 really bigger than 747
@nolde103 жыл бұрын
The engines are. The plane itself isn't which is also one of the reasons why the 777 has two and the 747 has four :)

depends on which 747. The 777-300ER is longer than the 747-100 to 747-400 but shorter than the 747-8. 747-400s were 232ft long and shorter while the 777-300 is 242ft 4in. seating capacity and wingspan are two different animals
