Lovely scenes! And they got to see their colleagues go in front on them.

That was indeed a lucky shot to get the pushback, taxi and takeoff behind the other 787.

In no way knocking the Airbus cockpit side-stick configuration, but I personally, very much prefer the modern Boeing set-up (meaning newer Boeing models). Earned my PPL flying Cessna 172 and 150 and its just very comfortable and famous for me. In my humble opinion, any/all new GA aircraft being marketed as a trainer, should have optional side-stick and/or Sam's horn styled yome controls...for obvious reasons.

Two Captains and a Junior Officer in the cockpit plus a professional Cameraman - Full house. So in flght are the cockpit doors opened to exit the cameraman or does he remain for the duration of the flight. Super detail but not long enough LOL
@justplanes5 жыл бұрын
He remains in the cockpit Ron as we film the entire flight...

Did I just saw two(2) Captains fly a aeroplane together, I mean this doesn't happens this very often right? Cause if so be the case who is really in charge of the aircraft? Do they have to come to an agreement?
@justplanes5 жыл бұрын
On the longer flights they have 3 pilots, in this case 2 Captains and 1 First Officer but its always the Captain seated in the left seat who is in command.

@@justplanes ...u mean they have 2 set of pilot... if both captain on command, who will replace 1 of them..?. It is a first officer....
@lapendosnaz5 жыл бұрын
@@justplanes .. 1 captain take rest , 1st officer will cover right.. so the rest captain will take over the present captain right..... i guess...

@@lapendosnaz They have 2 Captains and 1 First Officer... Into LAX doing the takeoff and landing was 1 Captain and 1 First Office and the other Captain was the relief pilot in flight to give the 2 flying pilots their rest break. Out of LAX doing the takeoff and landing were 2 Captains and the First Offer was the relief pilot. This way Besides the Captain in charge each of the other 2 pilots got to fly one takeoff and landing and each of the other 2 was a relief pilot on 1 flight... just a fair way to keep everyone involved/busy.

I don't care how much distance this plane can travel and how fuel efficient it is.. both the 747 and A380 will always be the most beautiful plane in the sky for me.. #biggerisdefinitelybetter

Lowest Paid Dreamliner pilots on the planet. I guess these pilots don't value their services very highly or alternatively enjoy subsidizing the travelling public.
