I've made many trips across the globe in 787s with no issues, so I was surprised to see one of them in the title. To my knowledge, there have been 0 fatalities aboard the 787 due to the jet.

Until For Now.... Bcz We Don't Know If There's An Accident With Fatalities In An 787... But Who Knows........?
@fxsriderКүн бұрын
@@YeahYeahBruhBruh A guy was run over by the main landing gear as one was being towed on the Boeing Everett flight line. He survived but I never could figure out how you get run over by something moving at a walking pace speed. I worked there when it happened and he came back as a safety mascot. Lost one or both legs. Almost a fatality but not due to the aircraft design or manufacture. I attribute it to an iPod but it's just my guess. It was on the news and they had a helicopter overhead providing footage. Everyone watching it was trying to figure out how he could get run over by the main gear during an aircraft tow??? It's a large set of wheels on the main truck. And they squeak fairly loud as they are moved.

Something similar happened on an Airbus, it was found a camera the captain brought had jammed between the seat armrest and the flight joystick when he moved his seat forward.

Love when flying across ocean when a dad decides to walk holding crying baby .up and down aisles. Freak severe air turbulence will send baby slammed into ceiling of the aircraft with dad. Think! Severe happens suddenly ,without notification.😮

Since the Rolls Royce engines have been so problematic on the 787 with the grounding of many 787s, LATAM and five other airlines operating the 787 with RR engines have rejected RR for future orders of new 787s and are ordering the superior GEnx engines. Other airlines will more than likely follow this trend.
@Carpathianrelinquished2 күн бұрын
The 787 has been “problematic” all by itself, nothing to do with RR which is superior in every way, unlike the 787.
@John-nc4bl2 күн бұрын
@@Carpathianrelinquished LATAM; Air NZ; Al Nippon, Thai Airways, British Air, Ethiopian and Air Tanzania have snubbed RR engines in favor of the superior GEnx engines. The GEnx engine burns less fuel than the RR. The GEnx engine has superior on wing time than the RR. RR have not fixed the deteriorating turbine blade problems as some people think that they have done so. The GEnx engine is outselling the inferior RR engine by a margin of three to one. It is bad when an engine such as RR is built in an island where the predominant carrier of that island is British, then that Brit carrier orders GE engines from America for their future 787 Dreamliners.

What's wrong with that statement? It was just pointing out that many people weren't wearing their seatbelts at the time of the incident so got thrown around as a result, when you are actually advised to wear your seatbelt at all times unless obviously if you need to go to the bathroom.
