This should be mandatory viewing by Boeing Management. Here we are more than 25 years later and Boeing still can't dig itself out of its Quality hole.

Very funny and still relevant as of the strike here in sept 2024

Still as relevant in 2022 as it was back then.

I used to love watching reruns of this show when I lived in Tacoma around 2005.

They need to make an updated version of this skit after last Friday's Alaska Air door-blown-off incident in Portland OR.

And still relevant in 2024, ha! And the Bobby Ayala line at the end always cracked me up. If you're a Mariners fan then you knew why it was so damn funny.

I grew up in the Northwest watching ALMOST LIVE and they came on before SNL.. they were waaay funnier. Almost Live made fun of Boeing EVERYTIME. Joel Mchale was the intern of the show and surprisingly, he's now the host of Talk Soup..the only guy so far from the ensemble who made it in Hollywood.

Talk Soup! That's where I know him from. Thank you

Really? Bill Nye hasn’t done too bad for himself either. Maybe you didn’t know he was on the show though. 🤷♀️ Anyhow, A.L. was my favorite show growing up.

Loved it growing up, too! I just searched Bill Nye on this show because I wanted to show my sixth graders the other comedy he did and they loved it!

@louiev2000 You should listen to Pat Cashman's "Still Alive" podcast (also available on KZbin). Besides Nye and McHale, Lauren Weedman has a big career, Ross Schaefer hosted the Late Show, Nancy and Joe Guppy became writers, Jim Sharpe did a lot of stuff and became a vice president at Comedy Central, Bob Nelson became an Oscar-winning screenwriter, Mike Neun had a bunch of PBS specials, and there are more examples... much of the cast and crew had Hollywood or national careers.

Aged like a fine wine... Relevant in 2024. Almost Live! and John Kiester need to come out of retirement to absolutely destroy Boeing and their third party contractors over the 737 MAX. Also, hey would ya look at that, a super young Joel McHale...

Tell me Boeing doesn't have a systemic issue going way back as you read through these comments posted over a 16 year span and everyone of them from each year seems to read, "Well this aged well".

The best wings in the world aren't going to help if the pilot doesn't know how fly the plane. I did it. I put the wings on the airplane wrong. I thougt it would be funny. Do you still think it's funny? YES!!

wow, the majority of this skit is still pertinent today (Aug 29, 2024). I guess all the same problems are still there, like they were in 1998.
