Ray, I've used this product for years, and I think you'll find that it works well. I like to coat the cast iron beds on my woodworking tools with it when they will be unused for a while as well.

I bought the gallons jug and use a air powered Presure sprayer . It looks good but after driving in rain with my truck, 5th wheel and enclosed 6×10" trailer behind the 5t wheel. I'm noticing rust again with in a year . I think it's OK as long as I stay out of the rain. The first jug I received on Amazon had been opened and I wasn't sure what was in the jug. I contacted Boshield and they sent me a new jug no questions asked . AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE 👏

It will displace any other built up goop you’ve used on something prior to using this such as greasing a shaft and stripping that off while leaving that nice waxy film. Have used T9 on my RVs for the last 8 or 9 years. Love the stuff.

Love the review. There is no miracle lube or rust preventative better than routine maintenance. I have a gallon container of military surplus machine gun oil that I’ve been using for 40 years. It works great too, along with....routine maintenance.

I have been using T-9 on my E-mountain bike chain for the last 2 years. Nothing beats T-9! And yes I have tryed pretty much every other chain lube out there!

I have used T9 on my mountain bike chain as well, definitely good results but then I found the DuPont chain saver spray. This stuff is amazing it's a great lubricant and it keeps the chain unbelievably clean and at 6 bucks at can it's amazingly economical. 👍
@davec56155 жыл бұрын
I used to race amateur (means I ride a lot) and use T-9 as well. Any lubricant has trade-offs between lubrication and collecting gunk. T-9 excels at lubricating well while collecting less gunk, especially trail dust! Good stuff. Even cleans if what you're applying it to isn't too dirty.

Thanks, Ray. Just ordered a can because I've been looking for something like this product for the slide, awning, and doors. I'll hit the jack stands, too.

My 80 yr old neighbor introduced me to T-9 last year. It’s great stuff. 🙂

Thanks Ray. Will be interested to see how it holds up over time. It's def not cheap - $18 a can on Amazon and $7 for the small plastic bottle but if it works it will be worth the cost.

I use fluid film all the time around my rv and house and like it a lot. So maybe T-9 will even be better or not. Time will tell. As always looking forward to your review Ray. Thanks.

I purchased the T9 both in the spray as well as the small dropper bottle, and I've been happy with the results on our coach. Usually our steps get the most attention with the product, as they're in & out a lot obviously. After seeing the posts on this channel on bike chains, I'll give that a try on our mountain bikes as well! Thanks for this Ray, seems to be well received!

You'e welcome, so far I'm happy with the results, it appears to be really good for things that have movement to them. Our door lock and handle has never been so smooth and without the mess of something like silicone or white lithium grease.

I have noticed on my Gulfstream Vintage the propane line is metal and surface rust is abundant. Ideas.

Mine under the rig is the same, looks like the OEM used an iron pipe for the run from the tanks to where it enters the rig via copper tubing under the stove, furnace and fridge etc. I haven't worried about it since its looks like a thick iron ;pipe and didn't think little surface rust would matter much. I figured if it was a issue the OEM would have painted it. Cheers, Ray

Does it have an odor? Do you think this product would be be a reasonable replacement for slide-out dry lube or is this more a corrosion prevention product?
@LoveYourRV5 жыл бұрын
It has a bit of a mild, sweet oily odor when first applied but dissipates. Leaves a waxy film, the oil part is just used as the propellant and penatrator then evaporates. I'm thinking it may be ideal for slides, stabilizers and stairs as they say it doesn't attract dust, but still have the wax as lube.

How long does the lubricant last looking into using it for my exhaust and my under carriage
@LoveYourRV3 жыл бұрын
It depends a lot on the amount of rain its exposed to. I find it lasts a year or more in drier areas but in places that constantly see rain much less time before it needs a reapplication. On my fifth wheel hitch that sits in the truck bed for example. During our wet winters maybe 3 months and during the drier summers around 6 months.

hm, judging by the consistency/drippiness of it being akin to eg WD40, this is more of a lubricant than a corrosion protector. Doesn't seem to stay on like fluid film

@@garthhart6642 Unfortunately Lee Valley is a long way from me (110 KM), Ive never heard of Peavey Mart, Im in Ontario and there is no such beast here, Ive actually looked for it at 2 CanadianTires but they don't carry here or on line, and I have also looked at Home Depot here in Ontario and again nadda and I only get a hit for Home Depot .com and not .ca. Amazon.ca carries it BUT the shipping charges are ludicrous. So I think since I'm not in western Canada I'm SOL.

They gave that to you? You didn’t show how it applies. How to prep. How it sprays. It’s color or shine. Does it run? Hit it with a hose. All I learned from this video is that you tried it.

Good stuff but overpriced. I use DuPont chain saver wax based with Teflon. Great lubricant for chains and moving parts. 👍 $6 on Amazon. And CRC heavy duty pure silicone for everything else. 3 bucks at Walmart.

Thanks for the recommendation. Price is a big con for the Boeshield. The little can they sent didn't go too far coating things around the RV and it may have to be reapplied every few months so that would add up.

@@LoveYourRV so when can we know the follow up is ready. I don't need an advertisement for the product I want to know the facts on how it performed before I buy it. Otherwise I can do my own vid and give people real information.
