King tides really don't make much difference at shore acres, you need a high surf warning with wave duration of 17 sec or less usually at mid tide, that's what brings in the big daddies.

How do I reconnect the wires I cut???
@LoveYourRV23 сағат бұрын
I solder mine together, but most people use crimp connectors or wire nuts. They come in different sizes for different wire gauges and need a crimp tool to install. amzn.to/40WvbCx or amzn.to/4eF8jKY

Any help would be appreciated I recently purchased a 97 7.3 power stroke. Knew the lock cylinder was going, it broke before I could replace. Went in replaced it and the key is still turning back and forth with no/ little resistance. No lights nothing work. Is this an actuator rod ? I can see the rod barely and cannot tell if it is broken any idea how to tell? Any other ideas Ignition switch etc..

At Boiler Bay approx 4:50 on your video, a person used to be allowed to walk up to that small fenced area. That was many years ago. When tides are high and seas are stormy there is a spouting horn there.

Love your videos, we had a 38' Hatteras on the California Delta for 10 years, so the boating videos are fun for us to watch. Also, we were just at Salmon Harbor in October Salmon and crab fishing , the funny thing is that we were camped in the large spot right next to where you camped. Its a small world. we will be in Lake Havasu Arizona fishing in January. Maybe we will cross paths. Travel safe.

Lots of crabbing was going on when we were there. I saw some guys using a fishing pole with a weighted gadget attached that would snag crabs by casting, never has seen that before. Got to get one for using on our boat!

@@LoveYourRV Yes, I have one of them crab snares, but no luck with it there. We had our boat there and was dropping crab pots just inside the river from the ocean and caught a bunch of nice crabs. We also caught 5 salmon up river fishing for 7 days. we live in central California near the Cal Delta.

BEWARE OF THE SPECS ON THIS PANEL: I purchased 2 of the 200W panels in this review. My generator needs 60-150V to operate. These panels are 30.5 Volts each so I wired them in series. They did not work. I checked the Voltage on each panel and it was 25.5 Voc and not the 30.5 stated. I checked the VOC when wired in Series and it was 51.5 V for the 2 panels. I just wish that the lower than stated VOC on these panels was reviewed. I like that they are indestructible but am SUPER DISAPPOINTED they do not live up to their stated Specs. I did contact support but their support is iffy at best for my experience. I have a few days left in the return period so will probably do that if there is no resolution with support.
@LoveYourRV6 күн бұрын
30.5 is the max open circuit voltage in full perfect sun, at perfect temperature, or perfect lab conditions. 24 is the max operating voltage in full perfect sun. Did you try in full sun, perfectly aligned with totally clear skies. www.solar4rvs.com.au/buying/guide-to-understanding-solar-panel-specifications Standard test conditions (STC) To enable comparisons between different panels, the performance of all panels are specified against a set of conditions used industry-wide called Standard Test Conditions (i.e. cell temperature of 25°C and an irradiance of 1000W/m2 with an air mass 1.5 [AM1.5] spectrum). These conditions are extremely unlikely to occur in real life. It's not a guaranteed figure but more a max voltage limit to consider.

Are they not 12v? So can I use them to my 12v system in my caravan?
@LoveYourRV7 күн бұрын
They output around 40 volts. A solar charger controller needs to be used between the panel and battery to regulate the charge. Even so-called 12V panels need a solar charger, as 12V panels actually output around 18 volts. Some folding panels include a built-in solar controller, but this one doesn't.

They do make good Brie! I stayed there a few years ago. Only think when feeding Max at 5:00 PM the geese saw him eating and didn't like that. They were headed straight for him on attack and I had to go out and be big and scary. So it wasn't much of a stretch. A good bottle of white a baguette and some brie man that's like eating like a king!

Nice beach shots. We also get asked why we dont get a bigger rig, our 27 ft passport with opposing slides is lots of room for the two of us. Easy to tow and easy to get into spots a big rig cant. Hope the weather is good for the king tides viewing for you.
