Bushmaster and rheinmetal both these days. The bushmaster 57mm is absolutely everywhere. And it has rivals even in it's early time of ww2 fame but remember it had to be upgraded a few times before it was really effective so don't let your passion get you so confused as to facts
@klmn2000 Жыл бұрын
@@BeKindToBirds Not really, the basic design of the Bofors 40mm remained constant throughout WWII. When made under license in the US, the cooling system was changed from air to water for the naval version of the 40mm, but that was pretty much the extent of the mods. This was done to cope with the intense rate of fire during wartime conditions. The guns were made under license in 3rd party nations much in the same way weapons are now, as no one nation can shoulder the manufacturing burden, plus nations buying the system want to give jobs to local suppliers (as paid for with tax dollars). The Bofors gun was responsible for 80% of downed Japanese aircraft. It was also credited with averting a lot more damage from waves of Luftwaffe bombing over London and the UK.

The Cv-90 would work better in Afghanistan than like the M1 and the Leopard.. it's lighter, faster, got better anti infantry weapons (since the taliban doesn't have tanks), and cheaper. The proximiy and time fuses are much more effective than a standard HE round and the risk of collatreal damage is lower.
