I would like to see some early magic. Having to get all the way to Mistlands to get magic is no fun.

I like the idea of gathering and production skill affecting yield. Example: Seed plants rewarding 2x seeds (scaled 10%-50%) and recipes yielding double the food (same scaling). Getting those buffs via potions would also be a neat QoL addition.

Some thoughts on what I would like to see from the Witch's Hut. Gathering Quests - "Go collect a bunch of , bring it to me and I will give you something nice." Reward could be magic wands that do fire or ice damage but that do not require you to make refined eitr first. This allows elemental magic skills to start before Mistlands. A place to make low level eitr food. But you have to go to her place to make it - she has the only cauldron for that. Some new way(s) to spend gold, such as buy needed ingredient(s) to make a light crossbow (requiring iron to complete) and a heavy crossbow (requiring black metal). This allows crossbow skills to start before Mistlands. Opinions? (I wrote this before I ever saw this video.)

I absolutely Love all of these ideas nelson! Lots of ppl have said they'd like magic earlier in the game. This would be a great way of integrating it and I always like magic wands. God idea to start crossbow skills earlier too. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

I think one of the lowest points of valheim is the training process. It’s annoying. A potion to help that process along would be great!

I had suggested these feasts way back before even hearth and home update, and their implementation is very close to what I suggested too... All of- Being set on tables Longer Lasting Buffs Being eaten right from the table. And having multiple uses from the table before being used up. Only bits I had in the suggestion that have not been confirmed (or denied) Was that these feasts would also provide a bit of a stat boost that is unique to the feast aside from your base stats, thus making them great options even into the late game if you like the stats given. And possibly being a food that stacks on top of your three food slots so as to not completely nullify eating your standard foods. I was already so shocked when they said this and started describing it, but! If it ends up have either or both of these features... Well, either way I am totally claiming this one as a suggestion heard hahaha 🤭

Interesting. I have a new world and character I made after ashlands update. Probably not gonna restart for bog witch. But my closest large swamp pretty well explored. Will need to travel further to find her.

You can see greydwarf eyes outside the hut right behind the glowing ward. Just standing there ominously. Just look to the right of the entrance as it zooms in.

What would be greatly useful would be 1) any menu (cooking, workbench) being sortable, and searchable, 2) the cooking menus having columns, like in the Valheim Wiki that you can sort by characteristic, so you can find what you want to cook first, then get the items required, 2B) bonus points for entering how many of a dish you want to prepare and getting a "shopping list out of it" so you only grab the right amount of each ingredient, 3) prevent the display of items you choose. I'm not ever going to cook Queen's Jam again. It was lovely when it was the best, and I made baskets full of it. Now other things are more important and there's not point in making 5th best... or 10th best, or worst. So in in the list is just getting in the way. Just my $0.02 with a pinch of salt.

I know they think of inventory management as part of the game but it's a bit excessive at this point. We should at least get extra bag or something somewhere along the game.

I could go into a rant about some of the other stuff I don't agree with as a player, after playing over 1000 hours, things where I don't feel like they're respecting our time as players (crafting 1 food at a time for example), but I'll control myself lol.

I would assume so yes, however you would have to go into unexplored areas to find the big witch and other things that spawn in the world

Yes, if you go to unexplored areas. I explain in my Mountain Caves video how far around the player the world generates for you to find an "unexplored" area.
