Methanol fuel is generally produced by steam-reforming natural gas to create a synthesis gas. Feeding this synthesis gas into a reactor with a catalyst produces methanol and water vapor

With the EV industry for public everyday vehicles it doesn’t work well I definitely agree but on the other hand the commercial side of things i think EV’s in the local delivery markets and schools districts and even farming to a point, we have electric motors that weigh 200 pounds that produce 1000 foot pounds of torque with the right people and companies those markets could really benefit having electric equipment.

Alternatives to EV is the way it needs to go. Hybrid vehicles and figuring out hydrogen is where its at. Check out Edison Motors in BC. They're building full electric hybrid (generator over electric) transport trucks

7:04 look it up. They’re in the process of doing it right now they’re laying the pipe as we speak. They have hundreds of miles and of course they win against the rulings of smaller courts and scientists and they’re storing it in the smaller lake. We have a few different lakes lake, Saint Catherine Lake, born Lake Pontchartrain Lake Maurepas in the ladder is the lake that they’re going to be pumping it underneath the problem that the scientist told them they would have is that to store it there they would be likely they would likely have leaks into the water aquifers one aquifer feeds the entire southern half of Louisiana like New Orleans and below and the other is the aquifer for the central Louisiana area. I honestly believe ethanol fuel should only be used in race cars. It’s too corrosive it causes way too many issues in older vehicles not to mention from my little bit of use with it it takes about 30% more to make the same power as I did onto ascensional gas and when I do the math that doesn’t equate to any cleaner, burning anything because it even from 10 to 15 percent ethanol cannot possibly make it burn cleaner because like I said it takes nearly 3 times as much which is about 1 1/2 times more dirty. if you think I’m wrong, educate me show me the science don’t just show me articles or some government agency or some tree. Hugging agency said it was better.

While this episode is interesting and thought provoking, it's also depressing. It shows how much our news outlets have failed the populace by covering shootings over bills in the legislature. Voting isn't nearly enough, we all need to communicate with our representatives on the state and federal level what "We the People" want to be laws and policies. News stories on shootings directly affect a small number of people but government affects approximately 330 million Americans.

I think the bigger problem is the media distracts the public from the real news that should be covered, such as how did the people we elected vote on bills and what is in each bill, most people don't realize how much "pork" is in these bills, politicians spend billions of our tax money just to get a representative or senator to vote for a certain bill.

EPA is coming for the ICE(engine). The 2032 requirements for the CO2 emissions is impossible to make. No gas car even is close to that today. There was another podcast on SwitchCars with ARne, which talked about some things coming down the pipe. Enjoy modifying your cars because in not very long it will be no more. Time to find a new hobby. Its really do or die time right now but no one is listening. Signing the SEMA petition is no longer what people need to do. People need to pool their money and do it ourselves. SEMA and PRI is not helping us any more.
