Those falls are pretty epic. Another amazing one is at home rule 10 mins south of Lions Den. Cape bedford is a top spot but don't forget flattery just north, it's basically bedford x10 with more sand and longer beaches.

Ya get ya mince. Then ya chop onions, red and green capsicum (Bell Peppers for foreigners), garlic, a tin of crushed tomato, a small tin of tomato paste, and your Italian spices and herbs of choice. Let that stuff cook in a camp oven with some water of course until all the flavours meld. A few hours is good. Boil up some pasta and dish it up with some parmesan (from a tin is fine). My mum used to make this when I was a kid in outback South Australia.

Great stuff...quick tip , when you cook a roast in a camp oven or at home for that matter put 12mls of water in the pan /dish ( no trivet required)...and turn the roast over halfway through cooking ...works a treat

Just found your channel and the episode intro made me laugh. I'm from up that way & if I'm not mistaken, your channel intro has a shot of you swimming at Trevathan, yeah? In 1982, I camped downstream of those falls for a few months. It was not long after the tin mine went dormant. I explored all over that country. I left at the end of '82 and got stuck down south for 30 years before I got back. I had to leave again around 2015 and I'm now setting up my home on the back of an hi-lift Ford Courier crew cab so I can go back and stay wherever I want self-sufficiently (to a point). I've subbed before watching because I think you have my attitude when I was your age...but I'm not old, okay?
