I love that area of the Cape. The sandstone escarpment is spectacular. The way the setting sun lights up the cliffs and silhouettes the trees against a red sky. And there’s so much history hidden away off that Coach Road. Great country.

Damm that soothed my soul, Missed Ya Nath. Ya back up in Johnny's part of the country again. You were keen to get back into there. Is that the same or a different cave system as the previous Ep with Johnny ? @ 16:12 what was said ?, I can't make it out. Yamm ? That Rock Art is Spectacular, Magnificent, in such pristine condition, Your blessed to view it. Haha taken me 2hrs to watch, kept going back looking at the Art, listening to things said. Krackin Start to a New Season Lookin forward to what this Beautiful has & told through your Adventures Cheers Nath Thanks Johnny Stevo

Hey Stevo. 😂, 2 hours! I’ll have to check what 16:12 was but yes I did point out and ask Johnny if it was a Yam on the wall. A yam is like a potato, a big source of food up here

@@WildReaches wish I could have seen more only scratched the surface. Did the main tracks and some fishing. Creb track and met CJ who was an older that has some country to camp on and hi. And I think it was Helen were great to let us camp and also be great hosts to his country. Did Bloomfield, old coach road, Frenchman's, Cape Melville with a cool camp at Kalpowar Crossing I think it was. Old Tele, 5 beaches, fishing around punsand Bay, Weipa, visited penny father, etc. Was the best experience yet and will be back. Mate went back with boat to Penny father and lest say strongly recommends

Could be Stevo. A lot of the time the old people would draw ancestral beings from the Dreaming with more toes and fingers than normal, that’s why Johnny was saying that dingo was a special one. It’s a magic one from the Dreaming

Would the drone have helped you get out or not really ?
@WildReaches2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think so, we knew we just had to follow that river, it was just such a battle going around all those feeder creeks. You can’t determine the steepness of the creek banks with a drone unfortunately, I have that issue all the time when finding somewhere to drop the tinny in.
