Killer demo dude! The best amp for metal, hands down. I was at an amp gathering and played a Fortin Meshugga black out, and then plugged into my Uber Ultra, and the Uber blew it away. Price point is solid compared to other boutique amps too. cheers!

Sounds epic man. I just downloaded your Ir's and have been messing about with them. They are amazing, thanks for making them available. I found them very clean and balanced. I am working on a Bogner (shiva 20th Anniversary) vs Bogner (3534) vid and I am going to use the Ir's for that. I will make sure to link to them in the description.

Hey Danny this is funny, I was looking for reviews of the Uber Ultra and came across your video. You probably don’t remember me but we have met a few times before - the last time was on Zoom to discuss remote teaching. And you told me about your Helios. Anyway thank you for this great video. @@ThyFinalPain I returned it Sweetwater in the end. It is a killer amp no doubt and it’s fun to play, but compared to my other favorite amps, it was actually a little too modern and tight for me (qualities most metal players love!!). It may have just been the 150w KT88 version being too high headroom, maybe el34 would have been just right for me idk. It sat great in a mix and had a unique clarity to it. Overall, I really liked it, but I just didnt fall in love enough to justify the price. I realized I like a little more vintage sounding amps and boosting them with an overdrive for metal. Hope this helps!

Nice!! That amp has a 16ohm out and two 8ohm outs. Did you hook up one cable to your 8ohm cab from just one 8ohm out from amp?

I didn’t notice it being noisy. I only used a light noisegate before the amp because the process of reamping always adds more noise compared to playing it directly. It does have obscene amounts of gain in the ultra mode, so there would be some more noise there
