Hello Dr. Danny, great video! How do you make sure to not overstress the Weber Z Matcher and/or the React:IR with the SVT´s 300 Watts as they both are made for "only" 100Watts? I am looking for quite the same combination but have no clue how to know how loud I could go with the SVT then.
@DrDannyMannGuitar2 ай бұрын
@@triclops8 thanks for the question! The react:IR and most loadboxes should have an input level where you can see how much level I’m feeding in. I make sure it’s not too metering too loud for the loadbox and then I know it’s under 100 watts. On the SVT, I usually have the master volume around 1.5-2 max. So you can’t crank the master with a setup like this, but you can get the amp loud enough for a good tone and crank preamp gain if needed.

Whenever I tune my Les Pauls, I always lube my nuts.
@PNWJEEPER0110 ай бұрын
Those are all good tips but imho here are the real techniques that matter: 1.Action set to where you like it. 2.Deck the tailpiece and overwrap. 3.On tuners low E, A, and high E wrap the string one lap above the hole and the rest below. 4.On tuners D, G and B wrap the string one lap below the hole and the rest above. This will reduce your break angles and tension. 5.Intonate. You almost always need to make at least some small intonation adjustments anytime you move the bridge or the tailpiece.

Here's another trick my uncle taught me' for rosewood/ebony fretboards' you can use a piece of fatback' use the skin side of the fatback to polish your frets then flip it over to the fat side' use that side to condition the fretboard and wipe down with an old T-shirt. You got me peaking over the fence at the Ecstacy. I have converted to Wizards from being a Mark guy for the longest time and have 4 of them now. Based on your styles and ear for dialing in, I think you would prefer the Wizard Hybrid (MCII power amp section paired with the MTL preamp section) a bit more. Your tones got me really curious about the Ecasty though and so did your comment about it being the most uncompressed, because the raw, uncompressed, super punchy and ripping attack, and Marshall'esque thing is what i love about Wizards so much, and it seems like the Ecasty sits in that same wheelhouse. I'll need to do my own hands on comparison with the Ecasty model in my Axe Fx III.
