This is a speed process of a pastel painting of a young boy. I've used a Canson paper and Schminke soft pastels. In this video I wanted to show how important is to make your own palette, and mix the colors during the process...

Most BE a grid...just we can't see...by the way GRID are good "tools" . Classic artist include old master used often....SAVE TIME ..!

U know..now a days people don't like to use oil pastel. So I can't find enough video in KZbin. But oil pastel is the medium I like most.so u r my best art teacher. I have learnt a lot from ur videos. Graciela Thankyou so much for sharing your wonderful, insperational talent. I turned the speed down to 0.25x and was absolutely engrossed. I love how it first looks like "paint by numbers" then comes the finger and BAM! It's art! :D (I also like the idea of using that test paper on the side for testing colors and as a palette to grab some color for blending with if need be).

Hey! Love your stuff. It inspires me and just seeing it done and studying how you balance certain colors to get fresh tones is intriguing and awesome. I would personally really like to see a Real Time counter in the corner so I know how much time is passing by OR even just a final time that it took in the "More info" section under the video.
