I was a teenager when I saw Queen perform it in 1975. A Night at the Opera had just been released. Over the years it's gotten so much airplay it's easy to forget what a great composition is really is. Thank you for making it "fresh" again. Well played sir!!

The way you feel what you play, the way you tap every single fret... You're an artist, not only because you play amazingly well, but also because of how you show your emotions using the most beautiful language on earth: music. Freddie must be proud of you.

The most stunning and heartfelt interpretation of anything ever. Played with grace and technical sophistication. Bravo. Bravo. I'm 62 and have listened and played music my whole life. I just love when someone takes something like this to a whole new level. I didn't like Freddy much even though I recognized the talent in him and his band. You captured the real essence of that entire piece, with nothing lacking. Amazing work. What a joy it was to enjoy that piece in such a different way.
@bengray50139 жыл бұрын
His name was Freddie, not Freddy, and his band as you put it, they have a name, he was the lead singer but the other members had just as much input into every song... I'm not exactly sure how you think this is taking Freddie's masterpiece to a new level, it's good but it's definitely not better than the original song!

Guitar Techniques magazine have a now legendary tab of BoRap. I've been learning it for the past 14 years, dipping back in every few days, yet I'm still only a 1/3 of the way through it. Hats of to this guy - he well and truly nails it. It's a song of nuisances, highs and lows, and Steve masterfully demonstrates all its quirks and complexities.

Mama, just killed a man, Put a gun against his head, Pulled my trigger, now he's dead. Mama, life had just begun, But now I've gone and thrown it all away. Mama, ooh, Didn't mean to make you cry, If I'm not back again this time tomorrow, Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters. Too late, my time has come, Sent shivers down my spine, Body's aching all the time. Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go, Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth. Mama, ooh (anyway the wind blows), I don't wanna die, I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all. I see a little silhouetto of a man, Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango? Thunderbolt and lightning, Very, very frightening me. (Galileo) Galileo. (Galileo) Galileo, Galileo Figaro Magnifico. I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me. He's just a poor boy from a poor family, Spare him his life from this monstrosity. Easy come, easy go, will you let me go? Bismillah! No, we will not let you go. (Let him go!) Bismillah! We will not let you go. (Let him go!) Bismillah! We will not let you go. (Let me go!) Will not let you go. (Let me go!) Never, never let you go Never let me go, oh. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, mama mia, mama mia (Mama mia, let me go.) Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me. So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye? So you think you can love me and leave me to die? Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby, Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here. (Oh, yeah, oh yeah) Nothing really matters, Anyone can see, Nothing really matters, Nothing really matters to me. Anyway the wind blows.

Ohhh My GOD!!!! Mr. Steve. This is for me, the best song ever, it was the first song of Queen that I've ever heard! I listened this song for the first time when I was 5 years old and the melody really got me... forever. And now, when I was listening your amazing performance I thought: "I have to tweet this video to Brian May" 'cause this cover it's really awesome. (Probably he already knows this cover) I've never thought in the posssibility of making a bohemian's cover on guitar. The reason? It's so perfect on piano that you don''t waste your time thinking in that kind of scenario, and for that... Thank You!!! because it was a really nice surprise!!!! That prove me that anything is possible!!!! P.S: I wish I had your skill to play the guitar. I'm learning!!! Have a Nice Day and since this very right moment... I'm Your Fan!!! #Blessings
