In my own defense, it's a crime I bounced off the hull of that E5 with gold. Jingles, peer through the ether and find the replay I sent you on December 4th, 2012. It's your destiny. Also, I wasn't aiming for the KV-4, the shot went wide and hit him by accident.

The KV4 is a fun tank to play, the biggest issue is that small turret on the turret yelling "Shoot me, shoot me". The good team play with the E5. Now it's time to hit the mines again and gather them salts!

technically, WG did monetize teamwork. Back when WoT first came out, platoons could only be formed by people with premium accounts. Eventually they allowed free players to form platoons, but only with one person, and some time after that, they ditched the premium requirement entirely, and now platoons can be formed with up to three people in them without paying a cent.

I miss the days of teamwork with arty. One of my favorite games began with me accidentally fail platooning with my daughter. Boy did our team give us flack about it as good as they did dying to the enemy. Alone, told my young daughter not to fire her gun, to play hide and go peek. She scouted out the remaining enemy tanks and we clobbered them. Now they took that dynamic and allow tanks to shoot gold into frontal hull armour down corridors instead of letting arty spank them for static game play.

having a good teammate always makes things more fun & better gaming experience. my son & I play WoWs together sometimes - we voicechat while playing - are able to communicate & coordinate our movements. we once won 21 straight asymmetric battles in a row working together - one of the most fun times I've played the game

The instant the battle loaded and gun was shown I was like "122 on a KV-4, are you having a laugh?" then noticed the standard APCR shell and gold HEAT. I guess a lot have changed in that almost a decade of last playing a KV-4.

So all ragers who tries to do what the E5 did (use the tank infront as extra armor) THIS is how it's done. Don't block the tank infront, Communicate intentions and BE WHOLESOME and you'll get ppl to help you out FAR more often that with calling them noobs or bots :) I normally go on a little Trolling against the players in the featured videos but this time Eagle_sword and Kelseamac_ you two are the most wholesome players I've seen in WoT in a long while, keep the wholesomeness up and ty Jingles for featuring this piece of unmonetizable cooperation and also for jumping bk and zooming in on the wholesome chat these two had.

I used to love roflstomping in my KV-4 back when I used to play WoT, oh so many years ago. In the hands of a good player it was nearly invincible as long as you wiggled your turret to keep shots off the little mini-turret on top of the main turret

Back in 2016 when I still played this game, I loved this tank for it's "reversed" armor profile. Normal tanks have best armor at mantle and upper front plate and have weak spots at lower front, sides and commander's cupola. Meanwhile KV-4 has cupola with equal thickness to turret front, frontal armor equal to side armor, upper front plate having same thickness, but worse angling then lower plate and a hole in the mantle. And it's fairly quick for it's mass, which allows you to install superheavy shrapnel protection, making you nigh immune to artillery and self damage on rams. I loved an ability to be annoying, even if 99% of battles in it were at 8-10 range ie max uptiers.

I tried so hard to love the KV-4. Unfortunately, I unlocked it well into gold spam era, so any windowlicker could just press the skill button and pen me from the front. Not to mention the large cupola-turret that begs to be shot. So after some battles I ragesold it.

How about a video series focusing on teamwork in WOT and WOWS. Might help to build awareness in the player base. Some of the best battles I’ve played have been along these lines. No reward from wargaming but rewarding nonetheless

The Tortoise is easy to pen so close up, even without gold, but as many players think "oh i press 2 key to get good at the game" they dont know how to aim 🤬😡, you would be suprised how much gold iv blocket with My Tortoise, I think Steve "honestgaming" demostrated how easy you block gold if you know what you are doing, used a IS-4 and blocket 12.000 hp just by staying angeld, and he just did it for fun without even trying to play the game 😂

I WISH i still has my kv-4 replay from back when the missions got introduced. Took my KV-4 parked half way in the banana on himmelsdorf against tier 9 and let the shots fly in. Over 20K bounced , but back then gold Ammo actually costed you gold so ppl didnt fire them like it was nothing. And there werent a lot of high pen Guns back then. Trully in the heavy tank meta, the more armor the better. And if you angled it right no1 got through without reaching for gold. Now it's a complete gold fest. Gold Ammo means credits and are therefore no longer only for ppl with big pockets who could throw money at the game like it was nothing.

New game mode for wargaming to monetize teamwork: no matter how much damage a teammate does to another tank, unless you yourself damage it, that tank is still on full health even after someone leaves it on 1 HP: A kv2 splash damages an M4 Sherman? You still need to do 460 HP worth of damage (or whatever it is for that Sherman in particular) while the KV2 just has to fart on him.
