AMX30 All are good terms to use. With Torps I usually call it a "Spread".

Userext47 I hope you mean HE damage and not the Myoukou. CV are also in need of a serious rethink. If you have a game with one side having a IJN carrier and the other side has none the carrier will dominate the game. If one team has a IJN carrier and the other a USN carrier with fighter setup the IJN carrier is fucked and can do nothing to stop it. The whole "IJN carrier are only about TB/DB and have no/crap fighters" flavour thing is retarded balance wise. They should have just kept it at more squadrons vs more planes per squadron in terms of carrier flavour.

The new 0.3.1 patch seems to be a semi-major-game-changer (HE way more damage, dive bomber way more effective, some ships retired, whole new ships added to learn, new planes to learn, major torpedo damage increases, etc. etc) - and it's still at buy-in beta. Will the intense WoWS interest continue, will the alpha/beta testers continue to be engaged, will the WoWS KZbinrs continue to post, post, and post again; and will WoWS, when it goes public be sustainable as WoT? Jingles you are correct that the Omaha has a new hull upgrade to increase its AA by adding 3 40mm Bofors and some other AA, but you lose two of your rear main battery guns and two torpedo launchers. I think its worth it, however is this video you don't have that hull upgrade mounted on the Omaha as you have 10 main guns and 4 launchers. The prior hull grade still has some decent AA as the video shows, and the addition of more AA including the 3 40mm's makes its a decent AA screen cruiser at tier 5.

Am I the only one who is greatly annoyed that there is a chance the Yorktown class is not going to be in Warships by the time of release? In an earlier video Jingles was talking about the Warspite and he compared it's legendary status of being on par with the USS Iowa and the Yamato. But here's the thing, Iowa wasn't as well renowned in America the same way Warspite was renowned in Britain. No the American ship of legend in WW2 was the USS Enterprise, the only Yorktown class aircraft carrier to survive WW2. It received over 20 battlestars, more than any other ship in American history, fighting Japan, her aircraft arrived just in time to see the aftermath of the pearl harbor attack and the next day scored the first US victory against japan, her dive bombers sank a pair of submarines near the Hawaiian islands, she escorted sister ship Hornet on her way to Japan to launch the Doolittle raid, She lead the US victory in the battle of midway. After the battle of the Santa Cruz islands she still continued to fight as the only remaining American carrier in the pacific ocean for a month until bogue and Essex class carriers reinforced her. Her airman scored several kills in the battle of the coral sea. During her carrier she suffered an immense amount of damage and continued to fight, and the only part of the war she missed was the invasion of okinawa due to her flight deck being knocked out of action by a Kamikaze who was either lucky as all hell or had some really good aim. Enterprise and the Yorktown class deserve to be in game.

What do people think of the new gunfire sounds in 3.1? At least for the lower tier cruisers, I'm not too fond of the change - instead of sounding like a large artillery piece, now it's more like someone firing a small caliber pistol. I laughed out loud first time I played the St Louis after the patch - sounded like someone emptying the clip on a 9 mm automatic pistol.

Ah, Jingles wouldn't be Jingles without his signature foible. He miss-names things. Murmansk is a Tier-5 Soviet cruiser, formerly the USS Milwaukee. It is a slightly better Omaha class cruiser with longer ranged gun, longer ranged torpedoes, and a faster rudder shift/turn. Why better? Because Stalin, that is why. It is also my favorite cruiser so far. The Tier-3 Soviet cruiser is the Aurora.

What are your opinions on the "rebalancing" of American and IJN Carriers? USN CVs being relegated to fighter decks with inferior TBs and DBs and superior fighters whilst the IJN get mainly full TB / DB squadrons with inferior fighters when compared to the USN? I find that when you play an IJN CV and go up against someone in a USN CV with a fighter load out then you're screwed. A single fighter squadron can knock out two of your TB squadrons. Whilst on the other hand if you roll a USN CV with a fighter load out to counter act the IJN but end up the only CV in the game then you're screwed. It's pretty unbalanced right now.
