This is pretty much how it works, i can understand why they do this. In warthunder is actually usefull, when you have a bomber flying at 10km altitude waiting for the game to end, most of the time the enemy players give the position of the bomber away so you don't have to wait for an hour.

From what I can see of the LTTB's stats, he is one of those players who takes a lt like the walker bulldog with the autoloader and snipes. His wins are below 50% recent with mostly lts played and a recent wn8 of over 2k. He also pads like crazy in middle/low tiers.

your win rate is dependent on your team winning. if you unlukily get shit teams often, and loose due to that, your stat is affected, regardless of how good you are, therefore you cannot accurately make assumptions on a players skill based in the abilities of his past teams

it is very indicative when coupled with WN8. WN8 is a performance metric, so it essentially measures how good your end game score is. winrate is indicative of what you did in that game and whether it was what was necessary to win. if someone has a high WN8 and a low winrate, you can safely assume that they are statpadders and don't contribute anything meaningful. if they have a high winrate and low WN8 you can safely assume that either they play a huge amount of low tier games or that they platoon for the majority of their games. when you have both, you can safely assume that it is an accurate representation of their skill.

I think the "What is the Tiger doing" question gets asked a lot. I've made plenty of goofs in mine. You think it's quicker than it is but once you over extend and only have reverse for an option you realize how slow it is. Then you choose forward over "basically sitting still" and then die. I've had to learn to follow other heavies in unless I'm top tier, then lead in with mediums close by. I think the Tiger is best at "ambush" flank holder(What the KV-85 performed in last replay near end) to assist front line. It can occasionally allow for BVR heavy fire when redeploying to another front. It's great hitting targets that can't spot you due to range but you can accurately and reliably hit and penetrate them. I have staved off over runs where the enemy has flanked a front but are out of position to deal with a cloaked Tiger and turned away 4,in my mind, superior heavies. But make a mistake in it and it is always fatal.

It doesn't take a genius to understand that the LTTB didn't have enough time to cap. The IS-6 was easily going to make it back in time. However... the LTTB's reasoning behind it is ... special. If I were that LTTB I would have left the cap anyways and tried to outspot the enemy tanks. Best chance to win at that point, since capping would have been a guaranteed death.

The IS-6 wasn't fighting and was already driving towards the cap. The LTTB had some lucky timing to leave the cap. The IS-6 would have reset the cap with around 10 seconds remaining. It doesn't matter since it wasn't a concious decision, the guy was still a dick :p

I sent a 9.15 replay a while ago where our platoon got 9 kills between us, we get it to 5 vs 1 before dying, and then our team fails miserably earning the sole e25 a kolobanovs. Most epic/miserable match i've ever had.

6:17 He fires HE because that 90 mm (I'm assuming it's the same one as on the RU 251) has over 100 mm of HE penetration, I keep it loaded in equal parts to standard AP because the HE performance is that good. Situational, yes, but being able to deal upwards of 300 damage every 5 or so seconds in a light tank is exceptionally powerful.

One of the biggest frustrations in the game is the refusal of some to cap, for no reason. The best solution for the opposition would be to put one on the cap and the rest try and finish the T29, they didn't and lost.
