There were burrs; I just didn’t show me removing them. A quick spin of the drill from the other side removes them. 🍻

ooohhh. Paul's going electric! Do you plan on bringing your brewing into the house, or are you still going to brew in the garage?

I’ll be stuck in the garage Larry. There’s just no space available in the house.

Home Brewing TV I have the same problem.

Been thinking of converting to electric myself, I am so curious as to how long it brings your HLT from 50 degee tap temp to 170 or so strike water temp. Please don't forget to give those details in the testing video. Cheers 🍻

You got it Brad; I’ll be sure to run that test, and thanks for watching.

Isn't the controller $500 plus you need (at a minimum) a Spa panel installed? I think I'll wait to see what Brewzilla is going to cost. I think it will be comparable. Blichmann stuff is nice, no doubt (and, unfortunately, never on sale). I think this is the only hobby that it seems normal to take a $300 cookpot, whack 2 holes in it, add something to it for a combined cost of $800 and then think it was $1100 well spent to make something worth roughly $50 a batch. We're all NUTS. TBH, you have to install that Spa panel either way...Brewzilla or Blichmann.

I hear ya... The amount we (hobbyist) will pay is astounding. However, the new Blichmann Power controller retails for $150, and the spa panel was only $85. The Brewzilla looks very attractive, and I’d be interested in how much flexibility it will allow vs. a three kettle system. Keep brewing my friend. 🍻

@@HomeBrewingTV Biggest advantage I can see is pump included and probably easier to clean. Downside is probably not as durable.
