I like that system. Used to have customers that had ancient furnaces that looked like they were installed yesterday. Rarely had problems with these.

I think she has a good simple heating system. It is a leakham but I guess not all of them leak. The piping to the chimney was pretty funky.

Just one thing that doesn't make sense to me Steve, the oil that these boilers run on, looks a lot like the off-road diesel that we burn in tractors. Just wondering if it's the same, or if it's a complete different fuel.
@rc4life483 Жыл бұрын
It is the same as off-road diesel, but without the red dye.

Why would you bother when you don't even clean the soot out of the boiler? Oil pressure not checked either which can be a common cause of soot because customers have fiddled with the adjuster. You wouldn't get away with a job like that in the UK.
@jasonoliver95492 жыл бұрын
Great video again Steven, makes you wonder who plays with it and put the wrong nozzle in. Why not heck oil pressure as they may of aged with that too. Keep up the good work sir

Hey Steve. The wife and I like your repair videos, but we also really like your cooking videos. Are you still doing the low carb, keto type diet? I've been doing an Atkins/ low carb thing for a few years now and it really has changed my life. No more gut and I'm never hungry between meals. Low carb is the way to go.

I thought you were going to check her draft to make sure that was not her problem, with that funky pipe and elbow tied into a chimney it could have not been drafting right if the chimney was blocked.
