I've discovered and listened to Omodaka four different times without realizing it. kyoteizinc, Cantata no. 147, plum song and hietsuki bushi are tunes I've replayed extensively. Not until last week when I picked up Sanosa did I realize they were all by the same act. Amazing.

Depends what you're looking for. People also don't mind a dj who is just playing some tracks. He chose to provide some different entertainment. It might not fit your specific needs though but thats ok.

I think that's such a cop-out. He could, and would easily provide both crazy visuals AND live performance- if he was more adept at mixing his music live. He'd undoubtedly be more successful too if he was on the level of say, Jamie XX, Daedelus, fucking Shawn Wasabi or someone. But I bet you'd turn around and say "oh, he just cares about his own vision more than making money or being famous!". I don't buy it. Start with the music and build around it, because most people will tire of the facade real quick.
