Sorry but your maths is wrong. 20% of 126 is not 31.5! You're adding 25%, not 20%. 20% of 126 is 25.2.

I disagree I did a 2 large egg mix and used 31ml of preserve. Below was taken from the British Aqua Feeds Website they recommended 10-15 ml per egg so in my case on this mix 20-30ml but I always use the top end as I don’t want bait going off. As I say in the video you can experiment with less preserve. This Human food grade preservative is made to our exact recipe, one that will give a decent shelf life to ready made Boilies and Pop Ups. Simply use 10-15ml per egg and mix into solution. The important part of the process is to dry Boilies and Pop Ups well prior to use, usually a minimum of 48hrs, possibly longer in the winter due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer the baits are dried the less moisture will be prevalent to prevent mould growth. *Note* you may reduce the amount of Liquid Preservative for short sessions when going abroad, simply drop the level to 7.5-10ml per egg and dry well for 2-3days avoiding contact with moisture.

I'm loving these videos just gone back to making my own baits and your right every mix acts different. I had no idea why sometimes itd roll sweet and round then others itd barrel out then other times itd just track up the rolling table and cause so much grief all with the same nozzle? thanks mate top man your making this much easier than anyone else to understand liked and subbed

Your maths is wrong, you need to divide your total amount of liquid by 100 to get 1% 126 ÷ 100 = 1.26 1.26 x 20 = 25.2 Personally I use 10ml per egg and never had a problem. So for your 2 egg mix I'd only use 20ml

I've started making my own hook baits but I don't use any preservative I just let them air dry for minum 3 days with regular turning does this mean they will go off and mouldy when sealed up?

Overtime I would of think so but will depend on ingredients. Removing moisture is a form of preserving. I would check them regularly. I have in the passed dried them until they were like marbles. Then re-hydrated them once I arrived at the lake but this was for week long trips. Re-hydration can take a while and is a subject on its own
