I like this too! Appreciate designs that look more on the animalistic side of anthropomorfic animals, AND retains their original cuteness, frightfulness or other kind of charm *as the animal they are*. Even better when they're bugs. Last time I saw something like that was... in the 2023 game Clash: Artifacts of Chaos (a Zeno Clash prequel), to an extent. Though that series' creature designs thrived on being unsettling and uncanny. And like they could fit in The Dark Crystal, in both voice and appearance. Either way, this animation is truly fuppin' awesome and lovely and I am happy to have seen it.

You shouldn't anthropomorphize the concept of sapience. It's a dangerous misconception to have.

Anthro/anthropomorphic/humanoid may fit better than sapient here. As sapient doesn’t really mean human like and is mostly related to intelligence and complex thought and stuff if I remember correctly. Though if anyone has more for what sapience is then please add it to the pile
