Boiling Water decreased Water Acidity !

The effect of boiling on the acidity of the water. Tests were performed for tap water before and after boiling. Boiling the water showed decreased acidity levels. But, why is it so ?
The reduced acidity was also confirmed with separate trials also and the results found were similar.

PreTrial Results:
Before:
Ph readings: 7.49, 7.54, 7.55
TDS: 268 ppm
Temp: 32 degree Celsius
After
Ph readings: 8.61, 8.62, 8.61
TDS: 217 ppm
Temp: 32 degree Celsius
Note: The results depend on the initial quality of the water. The before and after TDS and the water quality test reports are also presented. Difference in water quality may have different results.

what would the ph be if you did not add non boiled water back to it to make it the same level? because if someone was going to boil water they would not add any non boiled water back into it

I forgot to test it. but, I think averaging might be a good idea for inferring. Like, C = (A+B)/2 A= Before boil B= After boil C= Mixed water So, B= 2C-A So, I assume that if not mixed, the boiled water might have reduced acidity. It's like adding slightly more acidic before boil water to less acidic after boiled water, resulting in a slight increase in acidity.

@@SapienKnows yes by decent amount i would say you added back about 20% of unboiled water
